- The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:50, which is very ideal considering that the faculty is world-class. They listen and discuss each and every problem anyone ever has, and discuss it thoroughly with practical business case examples.
- The internship opportunities available for the students are pretty good and are offered to the students through the summer internship placement process, which sees some great multinational and Indian brands visiting the campus.
- MDI has one of the best placements among the top B-schools in India.
- The placements are among the best in India in terms of salary packages, companies, and job roles.
- The hostel life also invigorates a great competitive streak in students, which improves peer learning.
- There are 24-hour canteens that cater to the night owls and a sprawling campus with great sports facilities.
- Its the best college for marketing, and I want to pursue a career in marketing/product management. It is on par with the IIMs in terms of the roles we get during placements and summer internships.
Dislike
- Poor quality of rooms and furniture. The meals are mostly good initially, but then the standard goes down. The registration process is on the day of arrival

Placement Experience:
We have our summer internship process in September and once you are placed, you'll be required to do your internship in April-May-June of the next year. The avg SIP this year was 2,82,000 for 2 months which is basically 1,40,000 per month. The highest stipend stood at 2,00,000 per month and the lowest at 75,000 per month. All the students get placed. So if you are worried that you are not good enough, no need to worry, you'll also be placed at a very good stipend.
Remarks:
You need to appear in the CAT exam. Any percentile over 90%ile with a sectional of 70 70 70 cleared will fetch you a call from MDI Gurgaon. However, to convert core, 96+ is a safe score for non-engg and 98.5+ for GEM. After you get a shortlist, you'll have to appear and fill out a form which MDI-G will send and you can edit your details there. Further, you'll get a PI date. Results will be announced sometime in May.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It is one of the top-ranked B schools which have three specializations. All the faculties have diverse experience across sectors, it has a comprehensive curriculum and a robust alumni network and corporate partners, which helps students excel in different fields.
Remarks:
Admission is through the CAT exam, you need to be an undergraduate with a minimum of 50 %. There is no reservation available, after clearing CAT you need to appear for GD/PI process and a computed score is released based on your performance and you are admitted within a certain cutoff.
Placement Experience:
MDI, Gurgaon being in the top 10 b-schools of India, offers 100% placements to all its students. The students are offered a summer internship after the end of the first year and it is in the last semester that a student gets placed. There are over 90 companies that visit the college for offering placements and the average placement ranges around 28.5 lacs.
Remarks:
A candidate must appear for CAT or GMAT to get admitted to MDI, Gurgaon. The average batch percentile in cats stays around 98 each year, although there are exceptions. A candidate must have a minimum of 50% in graduation and 12th to be eligible for admission. It is after that the CAT percentile along with the specific criteria of the institution for the year determines whether a candidate will receive a call or not for an interview. The application form can be found on the website of the institution, and the admission process is smooth, as all the information is relayed from time to time through mail, either by the college office or the student-run admission committee. The college doesn't have any reservation policy.

eligibility is basic 60% on all your previous academics and a decent CAT or GMAT score. the have reduced the min percentile to increase diversity and good profiles orientation. there are no reservations at MDI and just a simple PI Process
Placement Experience:
The placements at MDI are typically strong and consistently rank among the best in the country, the institute has a well-established placement process with pre-placement talks, company presentations, and interviews. It offers two placements, first for summer internships and second for final placements, through summer internships students have an opportunity to get a pre-placement offer or later they could sit for final placements. The institute has a hundred percent placement record with an average ranging around 25-30 lakhs.

The admission process of MDI Gurgaon involves the following steps: Appearing for entrance exams like CAT, and GMAT by submitting an online application for respective exams along with the required documents. Based on the certain score or cutoff candidates will be called for further process of GDPI. Then final composite score is calculated based on which the final list of admission is curated, which comprises scores in different sections with different weightage.

The average placements at MDI for Summer Internship was 2.73 lakhs for 2 months for the 2022-24 batch. The data related to placements is available on the website for both summers and the finals along with the name of the companies.
Remarks:
I applied to MDI Gurgaon through their website way back in 2021. The application fee was Rs. 3000. It usually closes a day or two before the CAT exam every year. I recieved a shortlist from MDI once the CAT 2021 results were declared. The mode of communication was either mail or their website. I was supposed to submit relevant proofs on their portal before the PI. I appeared for the PI process and my interview lasted not more than 6 minutes. On 13th May 2022, I recieved an offer letter for all the three programs offered at MDI through CAT.
Placement Experience:
Work for a growing Indian organization and help them achieve their strategic goals. Further want to create a community for the sustainable growth of the country and society in general. Long term objective is to apply my learnings into action.
Remarks:
Final online personal interview with two faculties from the college. About general work experience and the most impactful projects I worked on followed by GK (ministers, capitals, why is this place famous, etc.) and current affairs questions.

Final placement reports for the season are yet to be out, but as per past trends, the average package stands at about 25/26 lakhs per annum. Remarks:
I took the CAT exam in November 2021 and scored 94.49 percentile. I received a shortlist from MDI around mid-February. The applications opened before CAT and fees were around 1000. The PI date I had was for 2nd April 2022. An improvement I would have liked to see is proper and clear communication of dates and prior dissemination of information.
