The placement situation is not satisfactory but most of the students go for higher studies or UPSC. Students become eligible for placement in 2nd year. I wish to become a civil servant. Placement is mostly in Computer Science and Economics honors.
My admission was based on the percentage achieved in the 12th board. Application forms and fee details are available on the DU website. Cut-off depends and varies as per course and category. I am from OBC non-creamy layer therefore I received the Constitutional benefit of the quota. I wish our admission could have been on an entrance basis but it was based on percentage but now CUET provides a fair and level playing field to every candidate.
Philosophy as a discipline offers a unique way to enhance your understanding and outlook towards the world. It opens up our minds and transforms us into thinking being. Thus, I opted for the course. The faculty is quite experienced and very humble. The ratio of faculty to students is optimum as Philosophy Honours is a relatively newer course at Hansraj College. The curriculum too is well designed, though some absurdities do exist. Examinations do not have a very heavy bearing as the number of papers is at a maximum of 5, thus giving ample time throughout the semester to prepare and develop a good understanding of the subject
The admission process was quite smooth as admissions were based on a cutoff system of class 12th percentage back then at Delhi University. Philosophy Honours did not require studying any particular subject in class 12th as an eligibility criterion. The form was available on the website of university. The admission process now has changed since the inception of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)
5th semester LEK, Bain and Co, DeShaw, No brotherhood, and Deloitte, are a few big companies, with about 5 offers per company on an avg Highest package- 25 lakhs per annum; Avg- 10 Lakh per annum 60-70% After getting the degree, I would apply for Master's in Economics at university abroad
Eligibility- 10+2 pass, with a minimum of 50 percent in board exams; for B.A (Hons.) Economics, Maths to be a compulsory subject in class 12, Economics as a subject not compulsory but non-inclusion in best of four aggregate would've led to a 2% deduction from BoF. Application form- On the official site of Delhi university (separate admissions portal); Application fees- about Rs. 1000, dates- mid of June I applied through the ECA quota wherein we had to submit certificates and LOR from teachers and institutes on letterhead
From 5 sem the students become eligible for placements and the placements are pretty good like they offer good packages. My plans after my degree won't be taking up placement but to continue my studies and do a master's.
For admission, we need to submit the form thereafter the admission was mainly on the basis of cut-off basis according to our marks obtained in CBSE. I got admission in the 5 cutoffs as I got 98.5 % in the best of 4.
Students became eligible for campus placement in their last semesters. They can sit for placement in their last semesters. The companies that usually hire students from Hansraj College are Boston group, KPMG Deloitte, etc. On average the package students get is usually around 800000. The highest package in the Hansraj so far is around 20 LPA. I'm aspiring for pursuing masters after my graduation.
The eligibility criteria of the course are through CUET conducted usually after the 12th boards in the month of June-July. The CUET forms can be availed from the Samarth portal. Reservation is provided for OBC/SC/ST and also for EWS the certificate of the following must be central. Usually one must secure above 700 marks out of 800 in order to get admission to Hansraj College.
I chose this course as I'm interested in Hindi and j want to do civil services. Faculty to student ratio is 1:20 and the faculty is really good they clear all their doubts and take regular classes. Exams were also timely held and about 90 percent of students passed the exams.
I've hindi honors and the eligibility for this course is 12 pass students of any stream. The application form was available on the du website and cuet was the process, it was held in 2 phases. The fee for the form was 250. I didn't get any reservation benefit and yes improvement can be done as it was a slow process.
Hansraj College is also famous for its high-grade placements. Second-year students are eligible for placements. In this college, many reputed companies visited yearly companies like KPMG, Amazon, Snapdeal, Deloitte, etc. Almost 75% of students were placed in campus recruitment. My plan is to prepare for the Civil services exam
The admission eligibility is based on an entrance exam called CUET. You can find the application form, application fees, and all other necessary details on du official site. Yes, there are Reservation benefits given by College.
Placement depends on the performance of the students. 40-50%of our college students get placement. My plan after my degree is UPSC or any other grade - b job as my father is an ex-army man. I didn't want placement
I had taken admission during the covid time. The admission process was online. There were 9-10 cut-offs. But for the general category, there were only 3-4 cut-offs of the north campus. I got admission to the south campus but after the sports cut off I got into Hansraj college on the north campus.

Both PCB and PCM students are eligible for the BSc geology in du, from 2022 admission to DU is through CUET and application for CUET is generally out in the month of march- April. cut off are generally high in the first and second rounds but can go low in further rounds and increase the chances of admission in the course.
akBy - aditya kushwahaThe admission process was through the cut-off of the class 12th aggregate percentage. The last cut-off for my department was 98.5. The form and application details are available on the DU official website. I didn't have any reservation facilities. I don't think it requires any improvement because now, it's through an entrance test which seems justified to me.
