Remarks :

The admission process was through the cut-off of the class 12th aggregate percentage. The last cut-off for my department was 98.5. The form and application details are available on the DU official website. I didn't have any reservation facilities. I don't think it requires any improvement because now, it's through an entrance test which seems justified to me.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it promises better career prospects and the curriculum is of my interest field. The faculties are quite qualified. Most have pursued their Ph.D. while some are pursuing simultaneously. However, their teaching methods are not innovative and satisfactory. Exams are held every semester for 6 months. Exams are of moderate level but the marking scheme is quite unsatisfactory.

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 23000 per year

Placement Experience :

After 4th semester, students can sit for placements. One of the companies is ZS which selected 8 students. The highest package is 10 Lakh and the average is 6Lakhs. Almost 20% of students get placed. I want to pursue an MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 23000. The fee is to be submitted every year. It is quite low as it is a government-owned university. The university doesn't offer any kind of assistance but there are various scholarships offered by the government that can be availed.

Campus Life :

We have various kinds of fest organized by different societies namely food fest, Diwali mela, and e-fair every year. There are diverse books and journals available. It offers all kinds of opportunities in terms of sports and competitions organized by clubs. The social life is quite well and offers good exposure.

The course is pretty straightforward forward you get to learn about Political science as a whole, the faculty is quite qualified and educated, they have the uttermost knowledge of their subjects and are also quite welcoming, mostly are PHDs, term exams were on time that is 5-6 months term

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in Political Science and therefore I opted for Political Science Honours The faculty of our college are well experienced and have a teaching experience of over 20 years, the student-teacher ratio is around 70:1 Most of the faculty members have graduated from the University of Delhi. The examinations are generally conducted every 3-4 months and in terms of difficulty, the questions are generally set in a manner that if a student has a basic knowledge about the topic he/she can easily write about it.

My experience at my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to do preparation for SAC or upsc and this course will help me with that. The faculty is quite good and they are always ready to help the students. The student ratio in this is quite large and the class for this course is filled. faculties are very highly qualified they know the way of teaching and everything. They teach very well. If we get any doubts they clear without asking questions and all. It's my first year and I haven't taken any exams yet we have 6 semesters and we have to take exams 6 times. I think it will be a little hard to pass.

Everything about LSR.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good if you have completed any sort of internships earlier so it will become easy for you to get placement. From 4th sem onwards students become eligible for the placements. The highest package is 60 lac. 60% of students get the placement. I like this college they have a good environment.
