Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facilities give you triple accommodation, with 24/7 electricity and water availability both hot and cold. There is regular cleaning to maintain the hygiene standards and also readily available assistance for any plumbing, carpentry or other maintenance needs. they also have laundry service but it's chargeable. The mess provides with a wide variety of food options four times a day and the quality of food is decent enough.

Hostel Fee : INR 200000 per year

Campus Life:

Life at the campus is great, it is a lush green campus with a lot of amenities, committees, clubs, and sports activities for the students. there are events happening every now and then and the annual fest Melange is something to wait for, the library on the other hand gives access to numerous books and journals both online and offline.

LIfe at KJ

Campus Life:

The campus is the best campus in Mumbai which also makes it a suitable location for shooting. It is a lush green campus with awesome sports facilities. The cleanliness is taken care of by specialized staff. Classrooms are equipped with ACs computers and projectors. The whole campus is wi-fi enabled.

Hostel Facilities:

Rooms are compact and have all the facilities. There is full-time security and food is provided four times a day. There are proper checks and cleaning done every alternate day in every room. The water is clean and two coolers per floor. Lift is available too.

Campus Life:

There are various case study competitions, dance, and singing shows and talent shows throughout. There are numerous sports and leisure amenities available at the campus and it's open to all students here.

Campus Life:

The campus is green campus with adds to its beauty. Various events are organized by student-driven committees and people from various colleges take part in them. All the books are provided by the college and is included in the fees itself. Apart from core committees, there are many cultural committees that help in student development.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is good. Proper management is there. I found the food not that good but they provide a lot of variety which is manageable. The cleaning staff is very active. Hostel life adds a lot to my memories.

Campus Life:

Life is good here. There are multiple committees, and every month there are events, case study competitions, and challenges, and the campus is huge and big so, one can walk and sit there under the tree. Being located in Mumbai gives students a different and special experience. Anyone can go to beaches as connectivity is really good.

An honest Somaiya review

Campus Life:

Life at the campus is excellent. We have various committees for different domains like marketing, finance, and operations have their own committees and there are many more to ensure the all-round development of the student. We have an annual flagship event called Melange. Our library is well equipped with various software that is needed for a better understanding of the subject. Amenities are excellent in our college with a wide range of sporting facilities.

Life at KJSIM

Hostel Facilities:

I availed hostel facility and I'm very happy with my decision. It is so because the hostel room is big enough to accommodate 3 children and every room has its own attached washroom, where hot water is available all the time. In the room, there are 2 fans, and big windows for proper ventilation, each student gets a table, almirah, bed, bed box, chair, and a wifi connection can be availed. The food at the mess is also nice and a new menu is made for every week, and it is kept in mind not to repeat the meals. In meals, fruits, milk, tea, cool drinks, and sweets are given respectively with different meals. The registration process is easy, the students have to choose yes to avail hostel facility at the time of registration and then a mail from the college will be sent to the student for further details and fees.

Hostel Fee : INR 8000 per year

Campus Life:

The annual fest of the college is held in February named Melange. The library is fully equipped with books ranging from various themes and study books. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and AC, mic, and fans, and are well furnished. Sports and extracurricular activities are given a lot of attention in college. Various sports competitions are held during the year and also college teams are formed to participate in various college competitions. There are around 20 clubs in college and 5 exclusive committees, where all the activities are run by the students. Many conferences are held by these committees and clubs and help the students to reach various people in the corporate world. Also, these clubs and committees help the students to know about what is happening in the market and how it affects their domain marketing, HR, etc. Also, the campus is very big and green. The walks on the campus rejuvenate the children after long hours of study.

Hostel Facilities:

There are separate 3 and 2 sharing hostels for boys and girls on campus. Hostels are well equipped with all the basic amenities. One table, chair, almirah, and bed are provided to each student. Girls' hostel rooms are better than boys' hostel rooms. They consist of balconies with a beautiful views. The mess menu consists of 4 meals and is really healthy. It provides a wide variety of dishes. The hostel might seem a bit costly but as compared to Mumbai's expenses and the given facilities, it's amazing. The hostel registration process is pretty easy and the K J portal will provide you with all the relevant details once your candidature gets finalized.

K J Somaiya has a lush green campus providing various facilities for the overall growth of students. These include a gym, game room, sports equipment, well-equipped library, amphitheater, wi-fi-enabled campus, AC classrooms, hostel facilities, and medical facilities. It organizes a 3-day annual fest named Melange in the month of February every year. The fest is being organized by a separate Melange team along with the members of the student council. Yes, there are hostel facilities at KJ Somaiya for MBA students. You will learn a number of life skills there. You will experience many things. These include having downright discussions with your roommates on topics like football, politics, and business. You will also make many friends during your stay here. Hostel: The hostel is known as SIMSR and has two buildings: ‘Sandipani’ for boys and ‘Maitriyi’ for girls. Each room here is triply shared and is quite spacious and well ventilated. It has individual study tables and a wardrobe. It also has a shower and hot water supply. Food: If you are concerned about the food, rest assured that you do not need to worry. The hostel serves four meals a day with varieties in the food ranging from pav-bhaji, dosa, chole bhature, and even dessert. Even if you are working late and decide to grab something to eat, the SIMSR hostel has a night mess as well. Living on campus is one of the key components of an intensive learning experience. K J Somaiya Institute of Management has a residential facility on campus for students. Large hostels have been built to give students the best amenities. All the hostels are located inside the same campus, are under the surveillance of a CCTV camera, and provide a safe environment for both boys and girls. The hostel is divided into two buildings, one for boys called "Sandipani" which has 11 floors and 1,53,000 square feet. The hostel accommodates 683 boys. The other building is named "Maitreyi" is for girls and is 94,000 square feet in size over five floors. The hostel can accommodate 373 girls at a time. The rooms are bright, comfortable, clean, and airy, with all the necessary accessories.
