Life is great at FMS. Though it is a small campus, it has its own advantages. Having a small campus and small batch size, you get to know everyone around you. There are multiple clubs in the college which you can be a part of. The best part is that it is a student-run campus, so by joining any society like the finance society, or Hr Society, you will have a great responsibility and a good learning experience.
It is completely a student-run campus, with all activities including placements being handled by the students themselves. This makes the entire life here really enjoyable and with actual responsibilities that students face.
Because of the lack of hostel facilities, we don't enjoy campus life like other top B-Schools but most of the students live together around the college. We have an annual fest called Fiesta which attracts participation from top B-Schools around India. We have more than 10 clubs and societies that guide students in various aspects. Classrooms are completely digital. We have access to the sports complex and stadium of Delhi University. Each society maintains its own social media handles and website and posts updates regularly.
We do not have a Hostel facility, unlike other B-Schools. We can easily find PGs and Flats within 2Km radius of the college at an affordable price. Your monthly expenses range from 15 thousand to 30 thousand based on your maintenance. The location is well connected and we can easily travel to the airport and railway station. FMS is located in North Campus and is near Kamla Nagar, Sakthi Nagar, Vijay Nagar, and Viswavidyalay metro.
The FMS library has a collection of 50000 books along with 100 journals, including 60 foreign journals and economic reports and case studies. The classrooms are fully equipped with comfortable chairs (for both left as well as right-handed people), and AC and AV facilities. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted by the Sports Society and also the Cultural Society throughout the duration of the course. The MSA is the most important student-run body and manages various activities related to infrastructure and organizing events.
FMS is said to be a student-run campus, where there are many societies and clubs to look after the students and the students. We have several batch parties, sports events conducted by the sports society, Fiesta the annual fest and many more.
There are almost 18 societies like finance society, systems and ops society, etc. These are handled and administered by students only. Lots of activities are conducted regularly and these make campus life much more fun.
The hostel is quite affordable and pocket friendly. It provides almost all the facilities. The only drawback is that rooms don't have ACs which makes it tough during summer. But the overall experience is quite good.
The whole FMS is run by students, we have clubs and societies for almost everything possible, you can get the full list of the clubs and societies from the website. Apart from this, we have the DU infrastructure in place for all sports, the classes are a bit large but the excellent teaching faculties compensate for it. Apart from it, you can attend any Delhi University College fests and festivals that go around all year and the city has so much to give, Delhi gives you the kind of party vibes very few cities can match. You also have the DU library which can also be accessed in e-form through your email login.
Fiesta is the fest which happens post the final placement. There are a lot of groups depending on your interest. Library has all the relevant books and the classroom is specifically designed for intimate student faculty discussion
Faculty of management studies is a part of Delhi university and as our university has two campuses one in North Delhi and the other in South Delhi, we have the benefits of both. Our tech fest is called "Fiesta" which is full of fun. I am a part of the dance and singing club of FMS Delhi.
Our college FMS Delhi has a small campus compared to other colleges but this is also advantageous for us as we are able to know each other and bond very well. There are societies like Finsoc, MarkSoc, syssoc, Litsoc, etc which are some examples of our social clubs.

The waitlist should be moved somewhat faster as many students are looking for admission and some students have to join the course even after 2-3 months of course initiation. This leads to a gap between the studies and students have to suffer due to the same.
CBBy - Chirag BhutaniIt was really a great process, everything was offline after a long, and the interviewers were good. The process was very smooth and everybody got a really clear idea about the college and its professors here.
