Dislike
- The course curriculum in my college is according to the GGSIPU syllabus guidelines, and its very weird that the course has not been updated for 20 years.
- However, the teachers here do have sources, and people have gotten into small and big firms for internships with stipends ranging from 5000 to 15000 rupees on average.
- The placement of the college is decent for the tech branch but too poor for core branches. They usually go for mass recruiters.
- Scholarships were provided, but I dont know if they provide scholarships to all students. Unfortunately, there are no campus jobs available.
- Campus life goes from bad to worse; the gender ratio is already unfavorable due to the B.Tech course. To make matters worse, the college is situated in a segregated area surrounded by clean fields. As a result, one cannot expect a vibrant campus or any exciting activities after college hours.
- If I talk about the college canteen, its disappointing and not up to par.
- The infrastructure for engineering is not good, as it is currently under construction. The college is located in a bad place, and the connectivity is quite bad.

Placement Experience:
Placements are offered to students from the 6th arm onwards. The college tries to place every student on its end, trying to bring max no of companies in placement drives. Some of the top companies include Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, etc. They provide a decent no of packages. The highest on-campus package I have seen is 37 lakhs from Amazon. The average package would be 5-6 lakhs which includes all the courses. Though you are likely to get 9-10 lakhs if you are from IT streams. Almost all students of IT and CS streams get placed but the problem comes in core branches where the percentage drops down to 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree are to get a decent package and then prepare side by side for govt exams.
Remarks:
The admission process of our college includes an entrance exam called JEE. JEE includes two papers JEE mains and JEE advance. Once you qualify for mains, then you are eligible for an advance. But you will get admission/course in our college based on your mains marks only. You are required to fill out a form for IP colleges and based on the mains cutoff you will be offered various course seats in diff colleges. Whichever you like you can lock it and get your admission there.
Placement Experience:
From 8 sem you are eligible for seating in placement Microsoft Accenture Flipkart Infosys TCS etc are major recruiters 1.23crore Google is the highest package of 2021 But there is no placement in the below computer-related branch

Jee mains exam are required upto 3 lacs jee the main rank after that there is a separate counselling system called GGSIPU counselling it takes 1000rs for registration and 1200rs for participation in choice filling There is no reservation in private colleges while main campus USICT follow the reservation The yes admission process is delayed most of the time
Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester, students are available for taking part in the placement. Several companies are visiting the campus like Infosys, etc. The highest package I have seen is 25 lacs And the minimum is 6 lacs.

Admission is based on your Jee mains ranking. The application form will be available at ggsipu.in website. Since I am general so I don't have enough knowledge about reservations. The Admission is smooth and you will not face any difficulty.
Placement Experience:
7th semester is when campus recruitments begin. companies like Samsung, TCS, and Adobe visit every year to recruit students. the highest package as per knowledge has gone up to 50 lacs and the average package is approximately 14-15 lacs. placement rate is 80-85%. My Personal plan after getting the degree is to work as an employee for some time to gain work experience and then if situations suit me, then I would like to start up my own business.

The Admission process was as usual as it is in all other colleges, for B.Tech, JEE mains rank is considered, the application form for counselling is found at ipu.ac.in the website, the application fee is 1500, and the application usually starts after declaration of JEE mains scorecard. There are several rounds held during counselling and the cutoff for my course (B.Tech IT) is around 40000 (closing rank). The admission process is simple and easy. The counselling takes usually 20-25 days to get over which is a bit lengthy in my opinion, it would be nice for upcoming students if this time is reduced to a reasonable time span.

The 7th sem is when placement recruitments begin, a lot of companies visit for recruitment, and the placement rate is 89-90%. The highest on-campus package as per my knowledge has gone up to 42 lacs. I plan to get a job after getting the degree and grow professionally year after year.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Atlassian many more companies visit the placement. Microsoft takes about 10 students on 34 lakhs. And 16 students on 16 lakhs. About 80 per cent of students get placed. I want to do M.tech from a good University.

The admission process is very simple and easy to proceed with. The admission is given on the basis of jee mains rank. There is also a process of management to get admission on the basis of money. But most students are on the basis of jee mains rank. You have to submit an application form to get into the ipu cutoff rounds. There are 3 rounds and 2 spot rounds. there is a reservation for OBC. Only sc/st students get the benefits. They charge 1200 rupees which is very much. Just to be eligible for counselling. This fee can be dropped.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As I'm only in my first year, I have little knowledge about every faculty member. But those whom I have met, are okay. Opinion depends on the individual faculty. But overall they are a well-made group. The faculty-student ratio is good. All the faculty members are PhD holders. Almost all of them have their writings published on national and international platforms. The difficulty of the exams is medium.
Remarks:
My admission took place on the basis of my JEE mains rank. The application form is available right around the time of JEE. As this college comes under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprashth University, you have to take part in GGSIPU counselling process. This occurs in 5 rounds. After this 2 spot rounds also happen. (IF any seats are left). Yes there are reservations availed. For SC/ST, Female quota, Sikhs, students from Defence background, etc. Improvement i would like to see is that the counselling process takes longer than usual.
Placement Experience:
The placements at MAIT are quite good. Many companies like Amazon and Microsoft visit the MAIT campus. Amazon gave three students a package of 56 lahks each. The placement rate of CSE students in MAIT is almost 100%

A maximum number of students get placed in good companies with a good amount of packages I wish I also be one of them. After completing the degree everyone wants to get a good package and good company and I also want the same.
Remarks:
I got admission through PMSS, Which is the central government scholarship scheme and we got admission through our 12th merit cut. It was the high cut-off when I got my admission. After getting admission to my college it was a great experience to be here. Th reservation benefits are available.

"MAIT - BEST COLLEGE IN IPU FOR BTECH"
To get admission to the BTech course in MAIT (part of GGSIPU) you have to clear the JEE exam which is held twice annually and according to the previous years' cutoff of MAIT, you can get to know a vague idea of the stream you might get here. In case, your rank is too low to even enter in the last course you can opt for admission through the management system. You have to pay a little extra but it can secure you a seat regardless of your rank. The reservation system is also followed here.
