MAIT Revaluation Result 2022

MAIT provides revaluation, re totalling, checking of answer scripts applications facility after the declaration of results. No revaluation process is followed for the entrance exam and practical papers. 

Students who are not satisfied with the results can apply for revaluation within 15 days after the college has declared the result. Students need to pay the revaluation fee along with the application in the registrar office. Revaluation results are released after 1 month of the application and the current result will be used for future preferences.

Ans. MAIT conducts 2 internal assessments for each semester carrying 34% of maximum marks out of which the Attendance carries 8% of the maximum marks in a subject, 26% for Assignments, Tutorials, Project Work, Class Exercises, Quizzes, Presentations etc.

Ques. What is the evaluation process followed by MAIT for theory and practical papers?

Ans. The evaluation process varies from subject to subject on the basis of crest allotted. In case a theory or practical subject carries 4 credit scores, the Internal Continuous Assessment and the End Term Evaluation shall be in the ratio of 25:75. For a subject carrying 2 credit points the ratio is 30:70 and for a subject carrying 1 credit score, the ratio is 40:60.

Ques. What is the minimum passing percentage for a student in MAIT?

Ans. The minimum passing percentage required for undergraduate programs at MAIT is 40%, while for postgraduate programs, it is 50%. Students scoring below the minimum passing percentage are required to reappear for the examination.

Ans. MAIT appoints external faculty or examiner for the evaluation process of End Semester examination answer scripts. Following this, the head examiner evaluates 10% of the answer sheets.

Ans. Students can acquire a total of 5 grace marks in one subject to pass in the exam or when a student needs 1 mark in 5 subjects to pass the semester. Grace Marks are only given in the semester exams and not for internal assessments at MAIT.
