High Point University International Students Admissions

The admission process for international and domestic applicants is alike at HPU. Students need to apply online along with paying an application fee. Nonetheless, international applicants are required to meet some additional requirements to apply in the USA. There is a separate online form, respectively, for domestic undergraduate and international undergraduate applicants. After the application is submitted electronically, portions of the application like letters of recommendation and transcripts can still be mailed to complete your application.

International applicants who are Non-native native English speaking country, must submit the test score for English proficiency in TOEFL/ IELTS. Visa process for International Students

International students can apply for a student visa to study in the USA immediately after an application letter is issued. Students must obtain an F1 visa for admission to HPU. After application through an online portal, the candidate receives an acceptance letter from the office of Undergraduate Admissions. Next, the applicants must receive the form of I-20 from the HPU Admissions Office. In order to obtain the I-20 form, the international students must submit the following documents-

Certificate of financial support
Photocopy of Passport
$500 deposit online through logging in to the MyHPU page
Foreign mailing address and foreign phone number (The form I-20 will be sent to the candidate via FedEx once the admission office has received all the required documents.)
Complete the online Nonimmigrant Visa application
Pay the SEVIS fee
Apply for F-1 Visa at U. S. Embassy and start preparing for an interview.

Overview:

I love the 96% placement rate after graduation and how much the professors and all faculty care for every one of the students. I also love the campus and its beauty. The president has such an impact on every student and teaches a class for freshmen which is not popular for any other college. It just sets it apart so much.

Scholarship:

Yes. I applied for scholarships and received some money in scholarships and also financial aid. You must fill out FAFSA to qualify for federal financial aid.
