Wentworth Institute of Technology has its campus in Boston. It is spread in the area of 31 acres. It is located in the beautiful location of Boston. The Institute houses 3 different colleges which are divided on the basis of departments to offer programs in different disciplines.

  • Wentworth Institute has a residential campus where almost 80% of the students live on campus. Housing for students is guaranteed for the entire duration of 4 years. 
  • To avail on campus housing, students must submit a housing deposit of 40USD with the housing agreement and choose to either select their housing or get placed by the committee.
  • First year students mainly reside in Baker Hall and Evans Way and Tudbury Halls. Baker Hall is a traditional residence hall with double and triple occupancy rooms. 
  • The rooms offer living areas and bathrooms in each suite. Students may avail amenities such as study room, mailroom, Game room, auditorium, laundry facilities, and vending areas.
  • For the Upperclass students, students can reside in 555 Huntington Ave, 610 Huntington Ave, Edwards and Rodgers Halls, and Louis Prang/Vancouver Apartments. All the housings are suite-styled or apartment style housing. The facilities offered at these are kitchen, bathroom, laundry, shared living are.

Alternatively, students can residen in the off campus housing options also.

Academic Requirements:

  • Standardized test scores of SAT or ACT are optional for the admission decision.
  • Students seeking admission in the UG programs are required to have a minimum GPA score of 3.2 on the scale of 4.0.
  • Students from non English speaking countries are required to have English Proficiency test scores. A student can appear either for TOEFL (IBT) with a minimum score of 79 or IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 or PTE with a minimum score of 53.
  • Supporting Documents to be submitted with the admission application for evaluation include official transcripts, letters of recommendation, personal statement, and record of extracurricular activities. Certificate of finances, copy of passport along with the scores of SAT/ ACT and English proficiency test scores are also required to be submitted.
