Fight On!

College Reputation, Location, and College Life. You'll learn how to balance your course work, on-campus jobs, and an active social life.

Course Curriculum :

I love the courses and the way the system of education is. They focus on fundamentals and not on rote learning.

Exams :

My scores: GRE: Verbal 156, Quant 165, AWA: 4.5 TOEFL: 113 The GRE requirement is waived off for now, but when I had applied in 2020, it was a requirement.

Placement :

While the job prospects are good, your internship hunt will certainly be a pain. You'll have to send out 100s of applications to companies, and you'll hardly hear back from a few of them.

Internship :

I'm still in the search for an internship.

Fees :

75,000 USD for 2 years +- a few thousand

Scholarship :

I didn't receive any scholarship. It's hard to receive a scholarship for the MS in CS program given the competition.

Faculty :

Faculty to Student ratio is pretty low for the MS in CS program.

Campus Life :

In one word, Spectacular. USC has a very good infrastructure and culture. The people here are very involved!

Hostel :

I stay in an off-campus housing. It's the best bet for an international student as it works out cheaper, it's close to the university, and you get to live with your own friends joining along with you.
