College of Business and Economics is one of four colleges and the department of Economics and Business programs under the Lehigh University. The college opens its admission windows for the international students twice a year, for the terms of fall and spring. College of Business and Economics International Admissions

College of Business and Economics welcomes applications for international students who want to study business in the USA. International students who want to take admissions into the college are advised to start with their application early. Though the application process is the same for the international and the native applicants, the international students have to meet a few more requirements and submit some documents. The application process for international students is mentioned below:

Admission Portal: The university accepts application for undergraduate through Common Application and for graduate through Graduate Application Form.

Application Fee: 75 USD (For graduate programs)

Basic Academic Requirements: 

  • A Certified record of the secondary school (high school), college and university records, along with a notarized translation and grading scale if they are not in English. 
  • GPA of not less than 3.0 in high school.
  • Copy of secondary school (high school), college and university diploma.
  • Scores of Standardized Exams to study in the USA
  • LOR.
  • Certificate of finances form.

English Proficiency Requirements

International students who are non-native English speakers need to prove their English proficiency to study in the USA. The students can use any of these tests to enroll in the college to prove their proficiency in English. The minimum scores required are mentioned below:

Visa Process for International Applicants

International students will need a visa to study in the USA. Students are advised to start with their visa process immediately after their confirmation for joining the university as the visa process may take months. Students can go through the following steps to apply for a Student Visa:

  • Fill the I 20 form from the official website of the college
  • Fill the DS 160 Non-Immigrant visa application
  • Pay the Sevis fee of $200
  • Fill the form 901 and submit it to the US department of homeland security 
  • Visit the local US embassy for the VIsa interview
