Visa Process for International Students

International applicants can apply for a student visa to study in the USA right after an application letter is issued. Students whose applications have been approved will be issued the I-20 Form. Aspirants will be required to submit the following documents while applying for a visa:

Valid Passport
Proof of Financial support and statement of Bank
If sponsored then sponsor letter
The applicant needs to apply for an F-1 or J-1 visa.
After the submission of the completed I-20 form and payment of SEVIS fee, students can schedule an interview with the nearest US embassy.

Note- if one leaves the US during a break then I-20/DS-2019 must be endorsed from the office of Global and Multicultural Education at least a week prior from the travelling date
