The Centre College does not charge any application fee for offering pre-professional, dual degree programs, and graduate partnerships but charges an enrollment deposit of 400 USD. The Centre College offers over 50 programs with majors, minors and has a student body of approximately 1450 students. 

The college offers only undergraduate courses and International students are offered admissions in Fall semester only. They need to submit academic records, ELP scores and going by the past record the average SAT scores for the applicants ranged between 1200-1390 and the ACT scores from 30- 32.

Centre College Admission Deadlines

Centre College International students Admissions

The applicants need to make their applications through the common application and international students aspiring to study in the USA have to apply for the fall semester commencing in September every year. 

The requirement for the admission are as follows: 

  • A duly completed application with no application fee. 
  • Official transcripts of the previously attended academic records translated in English 
  • English Language Proficiency test scores of the accepted tests. (Minimum Scores are TOEFL iBT 90; IELTS 7.0, DET 115) 
  • The standardized test scores of SAT/ACT are recommended though are not mandatory for various courses. 
  • One letter of recommendation
  • The applicants are also required to submit an essay of 500-600 words of a specific question on the common application.
  • The applicants must mention all the extra-curricular activities, volunteer work, school clubs that they were involved in.
  • The international students must submit a Certificate of Finance. Separate bank statements are not required.

Admission Requirements for International Transfer Students 

The transfer applicants from other Universities or colleges in USA will be evaluated for admission based on the following:

  • Academic performance in the previous college
  • Academic Achievements in Secondary School
  • Scores of ACT/SAT
  • Written essay Or Statement of Purpose

If the transfer applicants have not completed 2 years of college then in addition to the above the following documents will also be required:

  1. Secondary School Report from high school
  2. Letter of Recommendation from high school

The students who apply in June for the fall term must submit the printout of the Common Application. After completion of the application, the Centre College will evaluate and admit applicants on a rolling basis. The transfer applicants can also apply for scholarships and financial aid which will be evaluated once the application process is complete.

US Visa for international students 

International students need to apply for a US student visa after receiving a Certificate of Eligibility from the college.

The Certificate of eligibility will be issued by the college after receiving the following from the applicants:

  1. Enrolment deposit of 400 USD
  2. Certificate of finances

The college will then assist you in paying the fees which are required to receive an I-20 form. After which the student would apply for the visa at the nearest US Embassy. The following documents would be required:

Centre College International Undergraduate Admission

Centre College offers over 50 majors, minors, pre-professional, and other programs. Some of the popular programs offered by the college are Bachelors in Computer Science at Centre College, Behavioral Science; Biochemistry, Business, Pure Sciences, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Linguistics,Chemical Physics, Mathematics amongst others.
