  • Attendence issues is the worst even if you're just a minute late before entering the gate you'll be marked absent
  • It means that when a teacher had a class but if he/she is unable to take the class then he mark his class as dummy in which the class needs to be present inside the campus in order to get the attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I had interest in computer and technology's since my childhood and in today's generation AI and computers are in great demand. One student teacher is allocated for a class of 60 students in theory lectures and one student teacher is allocated for a batch of 30 students in practical sessions. The faculty teaching here are from top institutes like IIT and NIT and are well experienced. The final term exam takes place after the end of the semester after teaching of 4 months and an internal exam is taking place in the middle of the semester.

Engineering is very good in this college. And there are plenty of faculties for students. Exams are also not that much difficult but they are not so easy. You can do cheating in exams very easily if you are in another course but in engineering, you will have to study to pass exams

Ques. Which is better for a B.Tech (computer science), Galgotias University or Amity University and why?

● Top Answer By Mohit Kumar on 10 May 21

Galgotias University is definitely a better choice for a BTech degree in CSE. I have friends at both Galgotias and Amity. Based on what I heard about the CSE department at these campuses, it is suggested to choose Galgotias.  Amity is quite costly and the quality of education is not on the same level as Galgotias. If you want a good college life and you can afford the hefty fee, go for Amity.  Galgotias on the other hand stresses a lot on academics. There are many extra-curricular activities on campus that will help you in improving your overall personality. It also offers an exciting campus life.  For CSE, Galgotias has maintained a good placement record over the years. It has tie-ups with many reputed IT companies that work in favor at the time of placements.  The table below gives a brief insight into the CSE program offered by these institutes.  Parameters  Galgotias University  Amity University  Average CTC  8.75 LPA 4.5 LPA Highest CTC 35 LPA 30 LPA Top Recruiters Microsoft, Wipro, Google HCL Group, Adobe Systems, Capgemini  So, quality of education, placement statistics all these factors tips the balance in the favor of Galgotias University....Read more

Ques. I was hoping to join Amity University, Noida for computer science engineering. Should I join or not?

● Top Answer By Radhika Singh on 13 Apr 21

If you are thinking of joining Amity University, Noida for Computer Engineering, then it would not be an idle choice.  One of my friends studies at Amity University, Noida, and here are some reasons why you should consider Amity University for Chemical Engineering. Faculty: The faculty of Amity University Chemical Engineering is decent. Some professors are good, but they are limited in number. International College Tie-ups: Amity University has tie-ups with reputed international universities. Students have to manage the cost by themselves, though. Research Facility: There is no proper research facility and faculty. You will not get proper guidance if you are interested in research. Scholarship: To get the scholarship, students have to be in the top 5% and must have a high CGPA. If you manage to get a place in the top 10% then only 50% will be given. And if you fail to do so, you will not be eligible for the scholarship. Therefore, Amity University, Noida, is a decent choice for Chemical Engineering. You can definitely go for it....Read more

Ques. How good are the placements of Amity University, Noida for the CSE?

● Top Answer By Smriti Sharma on 02 Feb 21

Your placement entirely depends on your performance and skills. If you have developed professional and industry-oriented skills during your graduation, you are definitely going to be placed with a good package. Impotent Factors:  Getting a good placement depends a lot on your CGPA. At Amity you will need at least 6 CGPA to be eligible to sit for placement.  If you have maintained your CGPA above 7.5, you are most likely to bag a good package.  In the other case, if your CGPA is around 6.5 but you hold a certification in some course, say Artificial Intelligence, or any coding language or have received some award or felicitation memento in an extracurricular domain, you are likely to be placed in a good company. But if you do not fall in any of the aforementioned categories, you are likely to be in trouble.  Now let us have a quick look at previous years’ placement records for B Tech. CSE at Amity University, Noida. Highest Package 18 Lac per annum Average Package 3.0 Lac per annum Major Recruiters Ford, Microsoft, Yamaha, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Aricent, Genpact, etc. To sum up, it is better to grow interpersonal and industry pertaining skills during college life in order to secure good placements. The University offers decent placement offers to the students. And you can’t blame the University if you fail to attain the requirements to get good placements....Read more
