The average placement package for CSE students at PES University according to my friends, ranges from INR 10-11 LPA . This was for the year 2020 during which many companies revoked their offers made to the students or reduced salaries owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. About 80% of the students get placed within 2-3 months of the start of the placement season. More than 10 LPA average CTC is offered in the CSE department alone. For the year 2019, more than 120 students have got more than INR 10 LPA as fixed compensation. Though their overall CTC can be much higher just like Microsoft which offers INR 39 LPA as CTC only INR 12 LPA is the actual salary. The table below will show the companies, their CTC, and the number of students they took.
