What is the average package for students of CSE at PES University?

The average placement package for CSE students at PES University according to my friends, ranges from INR 10-11 LPA. This was for the year 2020 during which many companies revoked their offers made to the students or reduced salaries owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. About 80% of the students get placed within 2-3 months of the start of the placement season. More than 10 LPA average CTC is offered in the CSE department alone. For the year 2019, more than 120 students have got more than INR 10 LPA as fixed compensation. Though their overall CTC can be much higher just like Microsoft which offers INR 39 LPA as CTC only INR 12 LPA is the actual salary. The table below will show the companies, their CTC, and the number of students they took. So you can say that this is an average package for all the B.Tech students. This would be much higher for CSE students, while less for other branches.

Since PESIT and PES University are both on the same campus, will there be any difference in the placement and education in the two? If so, then which will be better?

In terms of placements, there is no difference as such- whether you talk about PESIT or PES, both colleges provide good placements. The students of both universities get to sit together with each other inside the campus. Jobs depend upon how well you perform with your abilities. The better you put your abilities to use, the higher your chances of getting a job are. Categories PESIT PES University Highest CTC 13.63 LPA 48 LPA Average CTC 4 LPA 6.8 LPA Recruiting Companies Infosys, Byju’s, Accenture, Bosch, etc. HCL, Capgemini, Honeywell, Mercedes, etc. But if we consider education, there is a difference that is to be marked. If I talk about PES, this is a University entirely. On the other hand, PESIT falls under VTU which is the South Campus. Now, faculty-wise, both the colleges share a fine set of faculty that can inspire you in many ways. You can end up learning a lot from them.

Which college has better placements for CSE, RVCE or PES University?

RV College of Engineering (RVCE) is definitely better than PES University. The below table shows the placement stats of the B.Tech programs of both colleges for the year 2020. Though it is not very big, it is located in the center of the city. Faculty - The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60 making learning quite easy. Most of them have done PhDs from elite institutes. The curriculum is well balanced and all the necessary equipment and lab are in proper shape. Other - The college has the biggest IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) chapter in the whole of south India. The annual fest UTSAV is also very famous in the region. So you can join RVCE without any second thought and you will not regret your decision.

iMTech IIIT Bangalore is better than a B.Tech CSE from PES. IIIT Bangalore has an amazing faculty base. The faculty members have completed their Ph.D. from top universities around the world like MIT, Stanford, Perdue, etc. IIIT Bangalore has a tie-up with MIT. It has industry collaboration with CISCO, Samsung, etc. So, you will get good exposure. IIIT Bangalore iMTech placements 2021 had an average CTC of INR 45.6 LPA. Other than geat academics and placement, students of IIIT Bangalore also have a locational advantage. As the college is located in one of the IT ones of Bangalore, its easy to get projects and internship opportunities.

PES, Srishti University, and MITID are colleges offering the recently introduced product design course. Some of the major recruiting companies visiting the institute for the course include JCB, HCL, Microsoft, Onio, Infosys, and a lot more. In the recent World Design Rankings(selected 19 students), India stood at a decent 16th rank and 3 students were from MITID. PES and Srishti claim to have more than 90% placement every year. Admission: For admission into the BDes course at PES University students need to apply for the PESSAT DAT entrance exam. Eligibility is 10+2 with 60% marks in any stream. The total seat intake is 120 seats. Students willing to take admission in Srishti University must appear for the Srishti Entrance and Aptitude Test. Eligibility is 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks followed by SEAT scores, and personal interview. The total intake is 300(200 at Bangalore and 100 at Pune). Depending on the work done by the students, companies offer them jobs or conduct personal interviews. PES: More than 50 companies visited the campus. 851 students were selected from the various branches. The highest package was offered by Robert Boschh that is INR 41 LPA. PES University is comparable to MITID, and Srishti University in terms of placement, academics, and facilities. All the three colleges are a good option which is evident from its national rankings, It depends on the student to choose the colleges according to their preferences.

Both Shiv Nadar University and PES University have evolved to be renowned universities in terms of the quality of education that they offer. However, if you are aiming at taking admission at any of these universities, go through these factors in a detailed manner before making any decision for your future. Honest Review of PESU

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placements from the 1st day itself. Anarock, Aditya Birla Capital, Jaro education, CCD came for placements. The highest Package was 12 lacs and min was 3.5. 80% of students got placed including me. The placements can be improved.

Internships Opportunities:

Aditya Birla Capital was an internship I did in for 4 months No Fixed Stipend, No Proper training. They made us sell products to friends and relatives. Targets were imposed with any logic and we delivered the results. The project was done within the campus itself.

Overview a good college

Placement Experience:

Placements will be fewer as most of the students prefer higher education if required they will arrange. Usually, the placement we get from companies like Toyota and other automobiles' highest package may be 3.6 LPA which will be less as respective to a diploma qualification.

There will be no internships for diplomas as most of the students prefer higher education but for that DCET coaching will be provided by the college to get a good ranking many of them will be placed in top engineering colleges.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement and employment opportunities, students must be in the 5th sem and there are a few sessions also conducted by the college on employment. There is a number of companies which come to college naming a few are Accenture, Amazon, Intellipaat, London stock exchange and many more. The placement package would vary from 2.5L to 4L.

Internships Opportunities:

There was a social internship project which was based on Accounting and finance in the ngo. Where the students gave their contribution to society. Many of them got many different roles but was mandatory to do accounting or finance roles.

Life of PES UNIVERSITY student

Placement Experience:

Several major companies like Bosch, HAL, Mercedes visit the campus offering placements to the students and the Mercedes offers the placements, particularly for girls who have chosen mechanical engineering and they offer 1lakh of cash if they inspire other girls to choose mechanical engineering the highest package offered to the student as of my knowledge to our branch's student was about 15lakhs from the Flipkart the percentage of students getting placed in our department is around 40% which is relatively lower my plans after my completion of the degree is about to study in aviation.

Internships Opportunities:

The college offers paid internships to students from companies like Hal and DRDO, and Mercedes offers internships with a payment of 30 thousand as of my knowledge companies like drdo offers projects with fully-fledged payment to students.
