- The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
- Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .
- College life is best in iitkgp , there is no constraints for doing anything.
- The gymkhana at our college is the best spot for hanging out with friends.
- The societies of iit kharagpur are awesome doing very great acievments
- The professors are awesome and we donot hesitate to reach them.

Dislike
- We must take part in our activities, except academics, which take a lot of time during the day, which is so frustrating.
- Placement opportunities are poor in core companies due to the scarcity of job openings in comparison to the number of students.
- If your income is less than a lakh, you can get rid of paying the college semester fees of 1 lakh for each semester.
- The gender ratio in our college is pretty bad, as bad as 1 girl to 11 boys, which is why the diversity is very low.
- The hostel facilities are average, and students are often forced to share rooms due to a lack of space.
- The climate in Kharagpur is really awful; it is the worst one I have ever faced in my life.

Placement Experience:
Summer placement starts from month of August and final placement starts in the month of December and within 10 days all students mostly gets placed Companies like P&G, Diageo, Reckett, Sun pharma, PWC, Tata, vedanta etc and 100+ offers The highest package for the year MBA 22 batch is 32 lakh and It will be more for MBA 23 batch placement brochure is yet to be released. 100% of students get a place here. I want to do a JOB in any FMCG industry and I have a plan for my own company.

ELIGIBILITY Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology or Master's degree in science, arts, commerce, etc. Reservation Benefits are here like tuition fees waived for ST/SC/PED. Criteria of Admission change every year, No uniform weightage for 10th, 12th, and graduation marks, graduation marks have very high weightage and PI is the game changer which is again a win or loses the game.
Placement Experience:
For Placements, students are available from the 9th semester. There are lots of companies who visit for placement in IIT Kharagpur. Some of them are- Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EXL, Philips, etc. The Highest Package is:- 2.6 cr per annum and the average package is:- 15 lac per annum. 85-90 percent of students get placed and the remaining students go for Higher Studies and Research. I plan to join a good MNC and work for a few years with them then I want to start my Startup.
Remarks:
The Admission process is very good in this college, all stuff are very polite and helpful always any kind of help admission. One improvement I will prefer is if the counseling may conduct by personal choice by a small counseling session then it will be more helpful for students.
Placement Experience:
So the placement is above Average you needed to be skilled and develop some of the good habits and confident of speaking will surely get a very good placement and try to maintain the accuracy of the grades you are getting it's like you need to be above average According to some media reports, more than 1,300 offers were secured at the end of day 5 of placements 2022-23. A total of 45 international offers have been grabbed so far. The IIT Kharagpur's highest package recorded till now is above INR 2.68 crore per annum. Also, 800 internship offers were grabbed from 140 companies that were part of IIT Kharagpur internships in 2022. Top recruiters are Apple, Airbus, Google.

So basically, Entering into IITs is never an easy task. But, students with hard work and dedication always make it possible. In the process to get into IITs is also some eligibility criteria exists before I gave the exam but it was removed when I gave it wad that to be eligible for jee advanced 75% in the board exam is mandatory. Appearing for JEE Mains Examination : Students should first appear for JEE Mains.This is a Objective based examination where student will have a stipulated time of 180 minutes, Having 75 questions to attempt.Here every correct answer gives you a score of +4 and negative marking is -1 for integer questios +4 for correct and 0 for wrong answer.If you are able to qualify this examination you will get an opportunity to attempt the next level. Appearing for JEE Advanced : JEE Advanced consists of two papers.Both are conducted on the same day with the similar time period.The difficulty level is more than the previous level and one of the toughest paper and it's pattern is uncertain
Placement Experience:
Everybody knows that the IITs are known for their campus placements with very high packaged of Jobs. The college placement quality cannot be questioned because the institution is the best engineering college in India, and the university placement is also up to par. The college has a track record of 95% selection and the remaining 5% are those who leave the placement sessions to do something else. The college's highest placement offer is 55 lacs per annum and the average wage placement is 20 lacs per annum Among the top college recruiters are Tata, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Bajaj Automotive, etc. As for my plans, I want campus placement in my college time and I work hard for that and grab my aim from campus.
Remarks:
The eligibility of the course is having above 55% marks in your intermediate level exam in any authorized board. IIT Kharagpur is India's best engineering college. IIT KGP has been ranked first in India as the best engineering college. I received good marks on my GATE exam and applied for admission to IIT KGP via COAP counseling. I chose IIT Kharagpur because the college is the best in engineering, the placement is excellent, and the education levels are very high It is very near to my Home town from other IITs.
Placement Experience:
In the final year students are eligible for placements. All the big tech, consult, core and finance giants visit IIT Kharagpur, there is a whole list of them like google, BCG, Microsoft, etc. For example Amazon gave 25 offers. Highest package was 2.4 Cr and lowest was around 5-6 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting degree is job.
Remarks:
I initially appeared for JEE mains then JEE Advance where I scored AIR 3733. I was from the general category. Cut off for IIT Kharagpur 4 year chemical engineering was 3820 rank for general category. All the details like form and notices are available in the JOSAA website.
Placement Experience:
Placements are very good and almost every student who sits for placement gets an offer. Average placement is about 17-18 LPA The highest package was 2.5 cr in 2021. Large profiles are offered including finance, consultancy, software engineering, and many others.
Remarks:
First, you have to clear jee mains. Then based on your JEE advanced rank, you'll get some branches in IIT. Application forms are released by NTA for jee mains and by IIT for advanced. Various kinds of reservations are available based on castes like obc, sc, St, EWS, PWD, and girls quota.

Admissions are taken based on jee advanced for the Indian Institute of Technology. First, you need to qualify for the 12th boards through the science stream and joint entrance examination(jee) to appear for jee advanced.

IIT are one of renowned engineering in INDIA. JEE ADVANCE is the entrance exam for the IITs. According to your ranking you will get course according to your preference. You can find the application for the JEE advance in NTA. This exam is conducted by IITs. Every year one IIT take responsibility to conduct the exam. I got Gen-EWS reservation to get into this college. This quota not that much better as OBC but It is better than General merits. It helps little bit. After the exam results, there around 6-7 round of counselling takes with takes around 2-3months to complete the process. I don't think any improvements needed in the admission process of the college.

We can avail various type of reservations based on category, disability etc. One improvement I would like to see is the process of verification should be more clear regarding the documents submission
