The overall eligibility criteria for MSc courses is a graduate degree in BSc from any university recognised by the University Grants Commission. However, the eligibility varies according to specialisation in various subjects.

Anthropology BSc with Anthropology, Zoology, Botany, Geology or Environmental Science in final year with Min marks 45% for Gen/OBC and 40% for SC/ST.

Lucknow University MSc Admission Criteria

The selection criteria for the MSc degree program is based on a university-based entrance exam followed by a counselling procedure.

Entrance Exam

  • The entrance test comprises 100 objective type questions that are to be answered in 90 minutes.
  • Each question is of 2 marks with no negative marking.
  • Candidates are asked question from the syllabus of graduate programs of the University of Lucknow
