Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time B.Sc Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Intermediate Science (with Mathematics group) or equivalent examination from the recognized board of Education
For General and Other Backward Classes candidates must secure at least 40%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 33%* based on total marks of all subjects.

Fee At the time of admission includes

Enrollment fee of Rs. 500.00
Laboratory Fees of Rs. 2000.00 per subject per annum will be charged in addition to the basic fees wherever applicable
Subject fee of Rs. 1500.00 per semester for combination with Geology
Subject fee of Rs. 3000.00 per semester for combination with computer science
Candidates offering Physics/Mathematics as one of the SF Subject, a fee of Rs 3000 per semester will be charged extra

I would say, degrees like B.com are very popular and very good having good curriculum, thus I would say, one must look into while taking the admission.
It's a state owned thus a good reputed University, managed by Up Government.

The college is really good . The staff , architecture etc all is good and most important the fees is is affordable

The course Curriculum is Updated to the NEP and the faculty members are supportive and cooperative. I chose this stream because I had an interest in physics. in faculty, it's an almost equal ratio of students. most of the professors are well qualified with a phd degree from iits!!! they teach mostly in English because of different students from all around the state and even India. exams are always on time and medium level according to me.

National PG College can be made a better place for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I get to choose the stats math and physics combination. Yes I want to continue with stats and math . And if we talk about the student ratio then starts have about 60 seats and math have about 200 seats in the college for students and physics about 120 seats. Teaching method is quite nice but sometime teachers get rude to the student that is a little problem attic towards but overall the college is good. Exams happened to soon rapidly then the time expected so it is a little problem but passing the exam is quite fair if you have study nicely then you are good to pass

I choose the BSc course because I want to pursue my Ph.D. degree in Maths. Students in the commerce department are more than the students in the science department. In national pg college teaching methods are very good they provide notes and they run regular classes. They conduct the exams every 5 months and the pattern of the exam is subjective so it is quite difficult to get maximum marks.

The teachers are very much qualified and phd holders and some teachers they lack teaching skills tbh but some teachers are reallyyyy great. And when it comes to exams only the semester exams and viva/practical are there no tests.
