Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate should have passed 10+2 in Science stream or its equivalent qualification, with at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics, Physics as a compulsory subject and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognized Board.

Entrance Exam:

Candidates must qualify JEE Mains.

MNNIT offers nine specializations under the B.Tech course. To be eligible for admission a candidate must pass 10+2 with 75% marks in the Science stream. For selection, they have to take the JEE Main.

Candidates who are eligible for admission to MNNIT have to take the JEE-Main for selection. The registration process for it is described below:

Register for the online application form
Make a note of the system-generated application number
Create a password
Log in again and fill out the form
Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

Those who secure sufficient percentile in JEE-Main will be called for counselling (JoSAA). To apply for counselling, the candidate will have to follow the given steps:

The coding culture is awesome here , almost every student is doing coding here
The campus size is around 222 acres which make it a best place to explore
The sports facilities available in the college are also best with coach for every sports
Faculty of mnnit is very supportive and they help you in every situation
The greenery of our campus is the thing which I liked

Dislike

Attendance policy of 75percent it's very difficult to maintain 75 percentage of attendance
Campus size is very small, boys can't access 2/3rd of campus but girls can access
Hostel facilities are not Upto the mark and some have very small rooms.
The lack of high speed internet , the internet is slow and diconnects frequently which is pathetic
You cannot go to other half of the college, you cannot go into girls area into the fests, only because you are boy or girl which is preety bad.

MNNIT ALLAHABAD - WHY U SHOULD CHOOSE

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the professors are highly Qualified with some being research scholars from many big universities. Some professors are very helpful and supportive whereas others are experts in their field but students get nothing from them. The teaching method is nice they use presentation and pdf to make clear concepts. The good thing in that is we get weekly classes with the PHDs student to clear our doubts which I feel is very important 1 semester in college ends in nearly 4 months so u have to appear for mid sem 45 days after entering to college. Mid sem is not so hard to pass. The things which are taught by the professor came in an exam so they are easy to pass Whereas in chemistry it makes it difficult to even score double digits out of 20. Chemistry in like a nightmare to most students in college Overall as I say professors let students find their own way to study and make them self-dependent.
