Thapar University or now known as Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) is situated at Patiala, Punjab.The placement percentage has been consistently above 90% for the last six years. It recently conducted its 2022 placement drive. A total of 361 recruiters participated and recruited 1622 students. The Highest Package of INR 40 LPA was offered to the students where as the Average Package stood at INR 10.97 LPA.
Till November 15, 2021, 889 students were already placed. 944 placement offers were made by the recruiters. 55 students already received multiple Job offers.
During the 2021 placement drive, 388 recruiters participated. 1207 students were placed & 1325 placement offers were made.
Recruiters like HCL Technologies, Accenture India Private Limited, HCL Technologies Private Limited, IBM India Private Limited, Hero Motocorp Ltd participated in Thapar University Placements 2021.
