LPU MA 2023: Fees, Admission, Placement, Eligibility, Application Form, Dates

LPU MA admission 2023 is open now. Admission to MA at LPU will be done through the LPUNEST entrance examination. The last date to submit the LPUNEST 2023 application form is January 20, 2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online on the official website - admission.lpu.in. Slot booking for the online examination will begin on December 26, 2022. LPUNEST 2023 will be conducted between January 25 and February 7, 2023.

LPU MA Admission 2023 Dates 

LPU MA Course

A Master of Arts at LPU is a two-year degree designed to provide students with a broad theoretical foundation for understanding past and future field experiences, as well as to develop abilities for professional employment. LPU also offers a MA program (Part-time) via Lovely Professional University Distance Education (LPUDE). Mentioned below are the specializations for the same:

LPU MA Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for LPU full-time and part-time MA are as follows:

• MA (Regular): BA in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
• MA (Distance Education): Graduation in the relevant discipline.

LPU MA Admission 2023

The selection process is based on your performance on the qualifying exam. Candidates must have completed BA in the relevant field with valid marks i.e. at least 50% aggregate as instructed by the university.

Step 1: Signup

• Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and the password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
• You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
• Login to the LPUADMIT with an already created username/ password.

Step 2: Application for Admission

• Fill out the application form.
• Select your program from the Available Programme List.
  • Deposit initial payment of INR 10,000. After the successful realization of the payment:
    • A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
  • Upload the documents.
    • Recent Photograph
    • Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, Aadhaar card)
    • Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming a scholarship on the basis of qualifications previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also.
  • Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
  • All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
  • Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.

Step 3: Apply for LPUNEST

LPUNEST is an online entrance test conducted to offer admission to programs you are interested in. Admission to MBA is done based on performance in LPUNEST and Interview. 

• Deposit the test fee:
• The application form and a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit cost INR 1000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls).
• The cost of the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit is Rs.1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls).
• Fill out the test application form.

Step 4: Book the exam slot

• Book the time slot as per your preferred date, time, and venue to appear in the test.
• Download the examination hall ticket.
• Appear and qualify for the exam.
