- A student is eligible to sit for campus placements from the final year of their degree.
- As far as I know, there are no scholarships available for students here. However, there are loan facilities for students who come from very poor families. By the way, the government offers a very low fee structure for poor students, so they do not need a huge amount of money to study here.
- Campus life was boring because there were no active extracurriculars. All the students were very active in sports, and I believe that besides sports, all other activities were inactive.
- If you are not good enough at using proxies and SSH tunneling, you have to rely on your data packs. Mess food is the worst.
- Our college has bad faculties; that is the only downside of this college. Additionally, we only have access to LAN internet in the evening, from 6pm to 2:30am.

Placement Experience:
Students get internships in 3rd year out of which many get PPO. Students in 4th year get placements opportunities with amazing companies coming in a campus like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Sprinklr, Aditya Birla, Tata, ONGC, Cairn India etc The highest international package is 90 lac and the domestic is 51 lac. The average package is 14 lac Almost 90% of students get placed
Remarks:
All Science students with 75% in the 12th Board exam are eligible and need to appear in JEE Advanced Exam which can be taken after JEE Main. The exam is held every year. The form is released around April on jee advanced website and admission is given through JOSAA Counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Some of the faculties are pretty good. All faculties are very well qualified but some of them don't have a good teaching style. In one semester two quizzes, one mid-sem, and an end-semester exam are taken.
Remarks:
If you qualify for the jee mains, then you can give jee advanced, and based on your merit you will get into IITs. The same procedure is followed by IIT ism Dhanbad. You can find an application form on jossa.
Placement Experience:
The campus Placements are quite good many tech giants visit the college, they offer good money, 1cr was the highest package in the previous year, there are many domains for which companies come, and students can apply to the company of their choice

The Admission Was on the basis of JEE Advanced and to appear for that exam you need to qualify for JEE Mains in which a million students appear and you have to clear the cutoff to be in the top 1 % to avail of admission in any of the IITs

Placement Experience:
Campus placement really improves every year. CDC, the career development centre SCPT, students coordinator placement team of our college plays a major role. The average package ranges from 17-19 Lakh while the median salary ranges from 15-16 Lakh. CSE, ECE, EE, M&C and Petroleum Engineering have incredible placement. Most of the students prefer to go for jobs and very less go for UPSC, GATE, MBA etc.
Remarks:
One needs to clear Jee Main and Jee Advanced and attend the Josaa counselling to take admission to the college. Jee Main is conducted by NTA and the cutoff for was decided for various categories and those who clear the cutoff advances to Jee Advanced. Advanced is conducted by various IITs (each year a different one from the previous year).
Placement Experience:
from the sixth semester onwards you are eligible for on-campus placements and you are eligible for off-campus placement after the forth semester onwards. every major company visits here i.e. Amazon, Google, Samsung, Flipkart, Zepto, l&T, Jio, Phonepe, Paytm, etc. around 70-80 % of students got placement and some students don't sit in placements as they are preparing for the GATE exam. i will sit in placement and also give GATE exams.
Remarks:
This college unlike other IITs takes students on the basis of their JEE Advanced score. So you have to give this exam first which you are eligible for after you clear JEE Mains. you can fill out the jee mains application form on the NTA website then if you clear the JEE MAINs exam then. you can fill out the jee advanced exam from jee advanced exam. yeah in this exam you can avail all types of reservations SC, ST, OBC, and even girls' reservations too, and newcoming EWS reservations too. for SC, ST, and girls the form fees are also half that of others. no, the college admission process is so smooth and simple so I want any change in this.
Placement Experience:
College offers both placement and internship opportunities on campus. 3rd-year students can apply for internships. many multinational companies visited the campus like GOOGLE, Facebook, Samsung, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and many others. the highest international package offered is about 90 lakhs per annum and the domestic is about 49 lakhs per annum.

you have to give JEE mains test in which if get qualify then you have given another exam JEE advance .you got admission to IIT Dhanbad based on your JEE advance score. the counseling process is done by JOSSA.

Campus Placement and internship opportunities are quite good in college. average package around 18-19 lakh. the highest domestic package is about 45 lakhs and the highest international is about 90 lakhs. Around 90 percent of students get placed on campus.

IIT Dhanbad gives admission on JEE Advance ranking If you got a good rank then you have to participate in counseling after that fill out the priority order during counseling. The counseling process is done by josaa. so if you want IIT DHANBAD to give it first priority If you will be selected you will receive an allotment letter thereafter visit the college for reporting and you will get admission. 1st appear in Entrance exam JEE MAINS 2nd qualify for JEE advance. Give the JEE ADVANCE exam. got a good rank than you. 3rd Participate in counseling 4th fill the priority order if required 5th receive an Allotment letter from the college 6th Report in the allotted college 7th Get admission to the college hope this will help
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the petroleum branch because there is some kind of interest and also My college placement starts are so good, especially in petroleum engineering. Around 100 % of students got placed in petroleum engineering. The student ratio is not good enough, my batch strength is 84, and 20 girls among them. All faculty members are highly qualified and do their PhDs. there is 2 quiz and one mid sem and one end sem exam in one sem.
Remarks:
My admission process was offline mode, I got an application form through the college and the application fee is 250000 and the hostel fee is 30000. The application process was very good and smooth. I didn't get any reservations. The admission process was very smooth and done in a good manner.
Placement Experience:
For campus placements, 7th-semester students are eligible. every top company visits us. No of the offers are above 800. Highest - 95 LPA Almost 80 percent of students are placed every year. I want to work at ONGC.

For BTech, one has to clear JEE ADVANCED. Application forms are available on the NTA website. Reservation benefits are available as per the government of India's reservation policy. The application fee is available on the NTA website.

I had to write the Jee Advanced for which you had to clear the Jee Mains which i had and you need to get a certain rank to get into the college you desire in this case if you get around 8000 ranks in the open category in Jee advanced you will get into iit dhanbad in electrical engineering in joasa(joint seat allocation authority) it is around 3000 or 1500 open-category students you get to go to the best colleges even for the farthest ranks I would like it to give less propriety / benifits for reserved students.

The admission process was good. I was selected on the basis of JEE Advanced. The students in our college can get admission only through JEE Advanced examination which is one of the toughest examinations in the world. The fee structure and other details will be mailed to us and we apply to the college through a website called Josaa means joint seat allocation authority.

I took admission into the institute by clearing jee advanced examination in the year 2023 for my course computer science and engineering the cutoff rank was 1190 in OBC and in general category the cutoff rank was 3258. All the details regarding application form, application fees and dates will be given in the josaa website and official IIT(ISM) Dhanbad website. The admission process is kind of irritating because the registration site gets stuck due to many persons trying at a time. And you need to stand in a very big line during the physical registration in the college
