Placement statistics are excellent with highest package of 1 cr+. Students become eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester. Giant companies like Google, Arista networks, Microsoft, Reliance, Amazon, Adobe, etc are some of the recruiters. The highest package is INR 1cr and the average is approximately 20 lakhs per annum. 97%of the students are placed. I will be working as a software engineer in a big tech company after pursuing my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
Cleaning Jee mains+ advanced is the criteria for getting admission to this college. Application is through NTA's official website. Reservation based on caste is there. The admission process is smooth but very time-consuming. It would be better if it's of a shorter duration.
Placements of our college is very good with 90+ percent. From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. Mostly companies offer SDE, Analyst, consultancy profiles for students and highest package is from 45 to 50 lpa and average is 12 lpa. I don't have any plans just to get placed in a company.
To get admission into this institution, we have to take JEE Mains entrance exam from which we will be qualified for JEE Advanced with 35 to 45 percentile in the scheduled category. We have 5o clear JEE Advanced with a cutoff in all three subjects Physics, Maths, and chemistry with a minimum cutoff of 7 average marks in all the subjects which may change year to year, and you need to cross the overall cutoff of 40 to 45 marks for SC category. based on your marks you will get a rank and you will have options to choose an institution based on your ranks which will be given by Joint Seat Allocation Counselling Authority. every course in every institution has some range of ranks from which you need to keep your priority options. the application can be done online which will be released by December every year and application fees for JEE mains and Advanced are 400 and 1400 rupees respectively. there will be many reservation benefits for students. One of the main benefits is that there will be no tuition fee.
In the final year and the 7th semester we have eligible for campus placement there are many big companies who visited Google Amazon ONGC cairn oil and Gas Schlumberger and many other 100 companies visited the campus.
Admission Process: first clear your JEE Mains if qualified then you are eligible for giving the JEE Advance exam if JEE Advanced cleared then go for counseling through Jossa Counseling then you get your college.
For m.sc students the placement is not so good, coaching industry and pharmaceutical companies and some colleges are coming for a recruitment assistant professor but in b.tech or m.tech placement a good many companies are coming and they give a decent package.
At first, I gave an entrance exam name IIT jam so then I was selected for IIT Dhanbad by general quota in m.sc Chemistry, basically, I knew about iit jam exam in my b.sc 2nd year then I did my preparation for that exam. yes, the reservation is there in IIT. if you are belonging to sc/st/obc caste then just qualify for a minimum cut off for example 30 out of 100 and just secured a rank under 1500 then obviously you get a better IIT. it is very helpful to backward class for doing study in India's best initiate and also university and the last point is any improvement needed? My answer is no. bcz iit jam is a very easy exam. if anyone covered the basics of a particular subject them might be possible heor her to quality iit jam exam and get into IIT. my advice to juniors is that focus and work hard on their subject whatever they choose definitely qualify this exam
Placement stats are pretty good for Software companies also and for other branches like Earth branches it's also good. Giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Sprinklr, and Deshaw consistently visit the campus giving huge opportunities.
Eligibility is Jee Advanced, Ranking Criteria may differ every year can refer Josaa previous year-round results for the proper idea. Application in Btech is only applicable through jee advanced. All case and physically disabled reservations are applicable as per Indian government rules. Home state quota is not applicable as it is a central MHRD college.
The placement record of IIT ISM Dhanbad is good. Almost all students get placed. The placement rate is 98%. Placement started in the 7th semester. Many MNCs and Indian companies come to the campus for placement. These include -Microsoft, Google, Uber, Oracle etc. Jio and TATA recruit a maximum number of students appx 50 each. This year The highest on-campus package is 52 lakh by Accenture japan and the highest domestic package is 43 lakh. The average package is 17.07 lakh per annum and the median package is around 20 lakh per annum. The highest off-campus package is 92 lakh by Bloomberg London.
Admission to IIT ISM Dhanbad is based on Jee Advanced rank. We have to first qualify for JEE mains with good rank( rank should be less than 2 lahks among 10 lakh students) and then we have qualified JEE advanced also. To get admission we have to secure less than 15,000 ranks in JEE advanced. The application fee for JEE mains is around Rs 1000 for the general male category and Rs 800 for the female and another reserved category. JEE Mains conduct in two phases first in January and the other in April. Admission to IIT ISM Dhanbad is done through JOSAA counselling. You can find the detailed cutoff for each course on the official website of Josaa. The reservation facility is there and 10 per cent seat of each category is reserved for women.
The faculty of our department is so talented and supportive, and on the basis of my rank, I found this course is good. Our professors are so qualified and they teach very well. Literally, I want to say that course exams are very difficult.
I gave jee mains after qualifying mains I was eligible to do jee advance, I am able to clear all three subjects(PCM) cutoff criteria, and on the basis of my marks my rank was made. The next process is josaa counseling in which I got this branch in this college on the basis of the rank and priority list of my branch and college.
After the 6th-semester examination companies started to come for placement basically the first resume shortlist and the coding round begins after that from December interview process starts every year. lots of companies like Microsoft, and Google also come for hiring.
The admission process is completely ok as we know admission dome through jee advanced that is perfectly fine. for that, I first qualified to jee main after that got a good rank in jee advanced. Filled form for josaa counselling and got a seat in ISM
The placements are better than those most of private engineering colleges. The placement process starts in the month of December. There are also internship programs arranged by the campus for the students. Many students also go into research Internships or for higher studies.
For admission, we should first give JEE Mains. Then we must give JEE Advance. A percentage of 75% is mandatory for admission. On the basis of JEE Advanced rank JOSSA conducts counseling in various stages. For M.Sc we should give IIT JAM and for M.Tech we should apply through GATE
I am always eager to learn about new technologies and that's why I have chosen the computer science and engineering course. The student radio in my college is very very bad :( Qualification of the faculty is good but is not that much interesting as I thought before taking admission into the IIT.
I have been admitted through the JEE advanced exam, taken by the jossa counselling. The form is available on the official website of the NTA(national testing agency). The admission process is too good and I'm totally satisfied with it.
