Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have Passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with 50% in aggregate or candidates who have passed the Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject having obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
The admission to the first year of five years B.Arch course shall be based on aggregate marks of 10+2 or equivalent and valid NATA score or score qualified JEE (Main)
Course Details
In addition to B.Tech., the university offers B.Pharmacy in two fields and B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT). Both the courses are of a period of 4 years and B.Sc. HMCT is of 3 years duration.
For applying to B.Pharm (direct entry) a pass in class 12th in necessary with main subjects as Physics and Chemistry with at least 45% marks. For B.Pharm. (Lateral Entry), the candidate should have completed B.Pharm. For making an application to B.Sc. HMCT, passing of Class 12th with 50% marks is mandatory.
Selection
The admission to B. Pharm. degree course shall be made on the basis of merit of HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized Board/University
The admission to B.Pharm. under Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made on the basis of merit of diploma in Pharmacy conducted by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. Provided that if seats under lateral entry scheme remain vacant, the same shall be filled up from the candidates who have passed diploma in Pharmacy from any other recognized University/Board.
Merit in 10+2 is required for admission to B.Sc. HMCT and BBA programs.
For B.Arch. either NATA or the percentage of JEE Main Paper-II (B.Arch/ B.Planning) will be taken into consideration. Merit in class 12th will also be considered, making it a 50-50 weightage.
There is 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST students in all the courses.
