Master of Business Administration [MBA] From HPTU, Hamirpur

Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

The admission to the M.B.A. degree course shall be made in the order of merit of Valid Score of National Level Tests CAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. respectively.

Himachal Pradesh Technology University also offers MCA and MBA degree courses. 

For being eligible to apply for MBA, a candidate must have done bachelor’s in any discipline with 50% minimum aggregate marks 

For MCA (direct entry), the candidate must have done graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized University. They must have Mathematics at 10+2 level/graduation level. If applying for MCA (Lateral Entry), candidate should have attained BCA, B.Sc.(IT/Computer Science) along with Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate. 

MBA selection

• The admission to M.B.A. degree course shall be made in the order of merit of Valid Score of National Level Tests CAT, CMAT, MAT etc. respectively
• In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of National Level Tests, the same shall be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET
• In case the seats remain vacant after the exhausting the merit of National Level Tests and HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 level or Graduation level or Bachelor Degree with minimum three years duration

MCA selection

• The admission to MCA degree course shall be made on the basis of merit of HPCET.
• In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of Bachelor Degree with minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level.
• The admission to M.C.A. under lateral entry shall be made on the basis of merit in B.C.A., B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science).

5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/BPL category.
