As a confused PCB student who has an equal attitude and interest towards each subject, I found it difficult to choose one subject over another. So I opted for this course so that I can maintain my passion and interest. The faculty of this college is great. Around 1 teacher is teaching about 15 students. The faculty keenly solves your doubts and maintains a strict, fair but friendly attitude towards each student. You might feel intimidated at first but soon they will become your best friends. All of the teachers have a different approach and attitude towards study so some might not show as much interest as you would expect but they are always helping you in one way or another. The term exams usually occur every 4 months and they are really easy to pass if one regularly attends classes.
My favourite field is biotechnology but unfortunately I couldn't get a seat on microbiology but I choose life science so that in future I can pursue my dream course in MSC or research. Faculty in some department is excellent like zoology and chemistry but in some department is not good it's depend on yourself Teaching methods are very good In every 3 month you have to appear one semester exam and if are regular in college the you can score a good marks
I liked this course since I had an interest in all the subjects. It appeared the best course for me. All the faculty are from either the top reputed colleges of North campus and some of them have completed their Ph.D. from IITs too. Some faculty have their own unique style where they prefer to focus on practical skills. For every 10 students, there is 1 teacher available. Term exams are after 3.5 months and they are easy to pass. Just focus on classes and study the recommended books. There are times when teachers don't take classes and that's the only con.
You choose this course when you are preparing for a competitive exam this course offers special exams like JRF Life Science CSIR JRF and Indian Forest Service stc. The faculty, it's very good and the botany faculty is every several months conducted a trip, etc.
The faculty are good some of them are PhDs and are very well at teaching as well. The faculty ratio is also very good maybe a 40:60: : women to men MSC, Mtech, and even PhDs teach here. The examinations were conducted on time.
