Course Curriculum Overview:

I m in civil by choice. I had a passion from too early so I followed that and came into it. Faculty here in DTU is well experienced in most of it and they know how to do things. The ratio in engineering colleges can never be justified as we all know. Exam time for us was difficult as we had got only 3 months to complete a semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum of dtu is on the easier side. But assignments, projects, and lab works have to submit by all students it's compulsory in all colleges. All Faculty members are from iits nits and other top universities. Some of them are very supportive and chill while some of are strict. Exams are taken in every 2 months mid term and end term exams in every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason to choose the civil engineering branch is because of my cut-off. Teachers in dtu are highly qualified but the teaching quality is average. So students need to study the whole syllabus to grasp the concepts and perform well in the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have to go to PSU. The faculty is too good with the vast campus. In one class on Average, there are 70 students. The qualifications of teachers are good they have passed out from a very reputable college and also have a good experience. If you daily study for 2 hours from a first then you will be the branch topper and college topper too. But most of us pass by studying 1 day before exams.

Ques. Which is better, CSE at DTU or civil engineering at IIT Roorkee if my inclination is towards CSE?

● Top Answer By Akriti Banerjee on 12 Apr 23

If you are sure about your interest in CSE, DTU is the best option for you. However, if you are yet to identify your area of interest then go through the following parameters Placement : DTU has ties with huge CSE companies like Amazon, and Microsoft that offer excellent packages to the students even better than Civil at IIT Roorkee. I know many friends from NSITs and DTU that work in Microsoft today. Research : The CS department is undoubtedly better in terms of research work and opportunities than the Civil. IAS : For IAS, the most preferred branch is Civil. However, if you do for Roorkee, you will have limited options for coaching which can be easily sought at IIT Delhi MBA : Again, because of better coaching institutes, IIT Delhi is better to prepare for CAT. Once you are sure of your inclination making a decision won’t seem so difficult!...Read more
