IIT Patna Hostel For Male
IIT Patna has five hostels out of which four are Boys’ Hostels known as Halls of residence and located very close to the transit campus. There is a lush of greenery around the hostels.
List of IIT Patna Boys’ Hostels
- Aryabhatta Hall – It is the first hostel of the college started in the year 2008. It is named after eminent mathematician-astronomer, Aryabhatta. The hostel has a capacity of accommodating 150 students.
- Ashoka Hall – Ashoka hostel also has a capacity of accommodating 150 students.
- Chanakya Hostel – This hostel is divided into two halls i.e. Chanakya Hall – I and Chanakya Hall – II.
- NBH (New Boys Hostel)
IIT Patna Boys’ Hostels Facilities:
- Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity
- Health care facilities, all the students are covered under Vidyarthi Mediclaim Insurance Policy
- Sports facilities including basketball court, a volleyball court, and badminton court
- Indoor activities including Gymkhana, Indoor Badminton Court, music and dance hall and a yoga room
- The students elect a student senate once every year in the month of February

- Hall Mess Establishment Charges Rs. 1,000/- (One Time)
- Mess Charges Rs. 12,000/- (Per Semester on Advance Basis)

IIT Patna has one Girls' Hostel situated located along with the IIT Patna guest house at about a kilometers distance from the transit campus.

Hostel Facilities:
the hostel facilities of this university is good but the only defect is there only 6 washing machines for whole hostel which is very problematic meals and quality of meals are good registration process and hostel fee all are included in the university only
Hostel Facilities:
A room for 1st year students consist of 3 students with each having a bed , a chair and a table Meal quality of the mess is above average You have to directly go to the hostel during the time of admission for hostel allotment. Rooms or pg are not located near the campus and it is compulsory to take a room in the hostel.

For freshers the hostel allowed is cv raman and the meal quality is below average sometimes oit is good the registration process takes only 20 min directly in the hostel office and there are 2 fans and 3 LED lights for the people in the room.
Campus Life:
IITP PATNA has four annual fests NEBULA [fresher party] CELESTA[tech fest of IIT patna and all over India participate] AVWESHA [cutltural fest of IIT Patna ] INFINITO[ sports meet and another campus also participate in the evnt] IITPATNA has a huge library. which has all the books and generals required for the course. classrooms are newly built and fully air-conditioned. IIT Patna has separate grounds. IIT Patna provides a coach for different sports and provides every single facility for sports. IIT Patna has many clubs like njack, Ivanka, exhausia, hoot, syahi.
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel is equipped with water coolers, washing machines, and WiFi. all the electrical sockets are in perfect working condition. The common room of the area has a TV and a Table Tennis Table. The mess provided varied dishes and the food taste is okay. The registration process is quite smooth and we are given rooms with students of the same year and same course.
Campus Life:
name of the annual fest is Anwesha for cult and celesta November and reverberance at the time of Diwali there is a huge collection of books and for sports, there are four badminton one football one cricket and in basketball and 2 tables tennis in the gymkhana building and the sports complex.

Our annual fest is Anwesha which is held in the month of January. Our tech mest is Celesta which will be held from 3rd November to 5th November. All required books including newspaper, fiction and magazines are available PhD thesis of IIT Patna students are also available. The classroom has all the required amenities.
Campus Life:
There are many fests conducted in IIT Patna like Anwesha (Cultural fest), Celesta (Techno management fest), Tedx IIT Patna, Infinito( Sports Fest), etc. Our college has provided like all most everything for sports. For sports like badminton, cricket, football, basketball, etc. Coach is given to us. And many coaches are going to join soon for rest sports from 1 NOVEMBER.
Campus Life:
Many fest is there namely, Anwesha which is our cultural fest, the biggest fest in northeast India, organized in the month of January, and Celesta which is our technical fest, organized in the month of November. All kinds of books are available in the library. All types of sports are there. Many clubs are also there for skill development.

Our annual fest is Anwesha which is very exciting and our sports fest is Infinito which has recently been over and that was a good experience availability of books in the library is good and our new library is forming which has a vast collection.
