Eligibility: Class 12 with 75% aggregate Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject (for SC/ST 65% aggregate is required)

Course Details
NIT offers admission to Bachelor of Technology in 6 specializations. Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in JEE Mains and JoSAA. 10+2 qualified students will be eligible for the entrance examination and further admission process. For my rank, the best I could get was this particular institute, so I landed here. No, there wasn't any interview process involved. My interest in Engineering and more precisely towards Electronics made me choose the Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering branch here in NIT Silchar.
