Master of Science [M.S.] + Ph.d. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) From IIT Guwahati, Guwahati

For admission to the Dual MS(Engg) +PhD in EEE, a candidate must satisfy the following criteria:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 7.0 CPI on a 10-point scale (or 70% marks).
2. Having a valid GATE score in any GATE Examination Paper.

The requirement of a valid GATE score is exempted for Candidates with a qualifying degree as a Bachelor's (B.Tech./B.Des.) degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with minimum CPI of 8.0 on a 10-point scale.

The CPI/Marks criteria will be relaxed by 0.5 CPI (or 5% marks) for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
