IIT Hyderabad MA Eligibility Criteria
The Minimum Eligibility Criteria for IIT Hyderabad MA Program are as follows:
- 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor’s degree.
- Shortlisted candidates must pass a written test and interview conducted by the Department of Liberal Arts.
Candidates still to appear in their qualifying degree examinations may also apply, provided they appear in all their qualifying degree examinations and complete all requirements for their degrees by the time of registration. If selected, such candidates shall be admitted provisionally, and they will have to furnish the results of their qualifying degree examinations during registration. Further, they must fulfill the minimum requirements of marks/CPI, as mentioned under the eligibility criteria for admission into the program.

Mere fulfillment of the minimum educational qualification does not necessarily entitle applicants to a call for the written test. The Institute reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates based on qualification and suitability.
IIT Hyderabad MA Program Structure
The Masters of Development Studies program is a two-year full-time program with 60 credits divided across four semesters and a two-month internship term. Each semester is 16 weeks long, with one midterm break week and one final semester exam week in between.

Ques. How to pay the application fee at IIT Hyderabad?
Ans. You can pay the fee online mode. It must be completed using the SBI collect mode. For more details, candidates can check the official website of the Institute.
Ques.Does a Candidate need to pay the total amount of the semester fee as shown in the offer letter?
Ans. No. You are not obliged to pay the dorm housing, mess expenses, and medical facilities till the resumption of offline classes after normalcy is restored. Following the start of offline classes, payments for some components such as hostel accommodation, mess charges, and so on will be collected on a prorated basis.
