NSIT Delhi M.Tech Important Dates 2024

NSIT offers admission to its MTech program on the basis of GATE exam scores/ written test. Candidates appearing for the GATE exam are exempted from the institute-based written test round. Given below are the admission dates for both GATE score holder and non-GATE applicants of NSUT MTech program:

NSIT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

A definite eligibility criterion is provided by the University for Admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates need to satisfy this criterion or else they will not be eligible for the final seat allotment. The detailed eligibility criteria is given in the following table that is valid for both GATE and non-GATE candidates.

NSIT MTech Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected on the basis of valid GATE score / if no GATE candidate available then seat will be filled using NSUT merit list. 

NSIT M.Tech Admission Criteria 2024

Selection is based on GATE scores or a written examination for non-GATE qualifying candidates. This is followed by the publication of a merit list according to which candidates will be called for counselling and will be allotted seats thereafter.

How to apply?

The mode of application for Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology M.Tech is through on-line submission of application. The applying method for admission into MTech may be a elaborated one and is represented as follows-

• Registration - Candidates are first needed to register that involves adding basic details like name, date of birth, signaling, gender and email ID. Following this a mail would be sent to the registered mail id with the user ID and password.
• Filling of Application Form- once registration is done, candidates are needed to fill the application form that has personal info, educational details, GATE score, preference of course ,uploading of vital documents and payment of application fee. The candidates are suggested to take a printout of the application form because it can be needed in future.
• Merit List
• Based on the GATE score or the written check score a merit list is released which is according to category. Those candidates whose names are in the list can go forward with the counselling procedure.
• Counselling
• On the basis of the name on the merit list the candidates are called for counselling for the ultimate seat allotment. 

Candidates has to verify few documents at the time of counselling that are-

• Print out of application form
• Two recent passport size images
• Payment receipt with its photocopy
• Proof of identity
• Original and self-documented GATE score
• Original and self-documented mark sheets of the previous qualifying examinations
• Proof of date of birth
• Reserved class certificate ( if any)
