- BIT MESRA is one of the best institutes in the country, having a top-notch student-professor ratio.
- There are a number of companies offering internships here, including Tata Steel, Paytm, Adobe, etc., with a good amount of stipend.
- The job opportunities are great in this field, as 90% of the students who have graduated have found employment.
- Yes, the college provides scholarships to those who have excellent marks in the first semester.
- The annual fest, Bitotsav, is conducted in February. There are more than 1 lakh books in the library, and you will find many journals. You can find any book from top writers.
- The college includes 13 hostels, which have awesome infrastructure and every facility.
- This is the best college with a minimum fee structure and the best infrastructure and facilities.
Dislike
- Its not perfect because there are fewer faculty members in our department. There is no separate food technology department on campus like others. This branch is still developing and does not receive much focus from everyone. It is not given much importance.
- I need to find an internship by myself. I have got a very low stipend, but its good for my future.
- If the student is poor and their annual family income is less than 3 lakhs, then only a scholarship is provided.
- You will be expelled from college if you are involved in bad activities. Politeness is of utmost importance; taking our vehicle onto college premises is not permitted.
- The facilities provided are not up to par according to the fees that are taken. The mess provides bad food, and the cleanliness in the hostels is very bad.
- They cause trouble only to the students, and when something goes wrong, they make excuses.

Placement Experience:
campus placements get available from the 7th semester onwards. the campus placements for non-core branches are very high and the average is also good close to 1500000. The highest package was given by Atlassian 8500000 but for core branches like ours tye placements are not good the average is around 8 lakhs and the highest is 13 lakhs. almost 90% of students got placed this year. The top companies that visited the campus were from tata, Mahindra, is etc. My plans after getting the degree are yet to be decided like a realistic engineer.
Remarks:
the admission process was quite easy. For entering into B.I.T. you need to give jee mains and then you need to apply through josaa and csab counselling. Also, the cutoff was not very much high for production and industrial engineering and my rank was 149259. Also, a spot round is there for selection into BIT Mesra.
Placement Experience:
On-campus placement is offered. Companies come like amazon Microsoft, sprinkle, etc. For on-campus internships, companies come at the start of 3 rd year. Many got pre-placement offers. The placement started at the end of 3rd year. The highest package offered last year is 64lpa by Atlassian. Almost all the students got placed.
Remarks:
The admission process is through JOSAA and CSAB. Candidates have to clear Jee Mains. For OBC there is no reservation in Josaa and Csab although Bit Mesra provide reservation for Jharkhand state obc in its website.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Many big companies visit the college like Microsoft, Goldmann Sachs, Sprinkler, Wells Fargo, Walmart, Amazon, etc. The highest package in CSE was around 55 lpa last year and the average hovers at around 12-13 lpa. In CSE, there is 100% placement although, in other non-circuital branches, the placement scenario is not that good. I plan to take a good-paying job as a software engineer after getting the degree.
Remarks:
The admission was through josaa counselling based on my jee rank. It was an honest process following all the guidelines. Admission happened smoothly without any obstacles. I was eligible for the 4 years B Tech CSE course and applied for the same. Application for admission was done through the website of josaa. I am fully satisfied with the admission process and hence see no need for any kind of improvement.
Placement Experience:
The Campus Recruitment Programme of BIT has been an example for several other institutions by catering to the demands of the industry. During the year 2021-22, the Campus Recruitment Programme maintained its strong position with visits from 235 recruiters (FTE+Internship) across all campuses and by achieving an overall target of 1257 job offers. The Mesra campus boasts of an average package of INR 13.01 lakhs per annum and the highest national salary of INR 58.33 lakhs per annum for BE Programme. talking about the batch profiler of the B.TECH here the number of students placed branch-wise is CSE-134, BIO TECH.- 70, IT-72, CIVIL-57 EEE-57, ECE-129, CHEMICAL-42, MECHANICAL -118, PRODUCTION-34.
Remarks:
The admission procedure of Bit mesra is just as the other colleges where the students have to submit the printout of the online forms like the jee registration certificate, cast certificate(if not from general), and other related documents as mentioned to you in the JOSSA or CSAB website, the students to join this college have to clear the JEE examination and get the specified CRL rank according to current years cutoff and then there is also a SPOT round where the students with lower ranks can also get a seat here depending on the vacancy available. if the reservations are availed then you are open to government-provided scholarships and also you need to pay less. The application form is available as soon as you get the seat in your JOSSA or CSAB rounds.. according to me the admission process here is quite a slow process and you have to wait long hours so I think that should be corrected.

Students become eligible for placements in the seventh semester. Many big softech companies visit the campus like Amazon, Microsoft, Walmart, Accenture, and many more. The highest package for my branch went up to 50 lakhs last year. Almost all the students of the circuital branches get placed. Although the placement in non-circuital branches isn't good. After the degree, i plan on getting placed in a good company and working there.

The admission process was done on the basis of obtained jee mains rank and the admission was done following the josaa guidelines. You can apply for this college through josaa counseling. I don't see any need for improvement in the admission process.
Placement Experience:
Our college is mostly known for its PLACEMENTS. so No doubt you have plenty of opportunities regarding placements. Students after the 6th semester are eligible for placements. All Top product-based companies visit our collage namely Atlassian, Microsoft, Google, Sprinkler, Paytm, and the list continues. The highest package was offered by Atlassian i.e 81LPA CTC. The placements stats of the Circuital Branch is very good compared to lower branches like mechanical, civil, and biotechnology. So if you are getting TOP Branch you just join here without a second thought. In my branch, the placement percentage is above 95%. The rest of the students might go for Higher study or other stuff. My plans after getting placements are simply to explore and enjoy Corporate life in Banglore or in Hyderabad.
Remarks:
The admission process for our college is the same as the NIT + IIIT +GFTI system through JoSAA and CSAB counseling. One should have at least 95 Percentile in JEE MAINS for getting a seat in BIT. For grabbing a seat in BRANCH LIKE CSE AND IT you must have a percentile >= 97.5. After getting a seat from counseling in the online mode admission process is quite very simple and smooth. The student has to contact the ERP Cell and fill up all details. In offline mode, you have to come to campus with your guardian and have to report the admission office in the main building of the college.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards 6th sem onwards for internships. Placement for circuital branches here is comparable to the top 5 NITs with CSE average package being 22 LPA and the highest being 58 LPA overall average package was 13.5 LPA. Core companies also visit our campus and offer jobs to core branch students like mechanical, chemical, civil etc. but they are fewer in number. Top recruiters are Atlassian, Microsoft, Tata steel, Hero motor corp, Hyundai, Genpact etc
Remarks:
For being eligible for BIT Mesra one needs to give JEE Mains and participate in JoSAA and CSAB counselling. Our institute also conducts its own institute round of counselling. The admission process was nearly smooth, but the hostel allotment system had many snags and it could get better
Placement Experience:
We could sit for the placement right after the commencement of 4th year. The average package was around 12 lakhs. Many companies like GS, and Adobe provided packages of upward of 30 lakhs. I got in good company too.
Remarks:
I cleared jee mains and got a rank of around 40000. Thereafter, we applied through multiple rounds and I got production engineering through the spot round which was the second last round. Thereafter, we had to visit the college and do the process.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester I think there are lots of companies visiting the college some of them are Amazon Microsoft and a lot of companies like them the highest package provided is around 85 lakhs from a biotech department student in Finland and the average package about 8 lakhs. The placement percentage for students in my department is 60%. I think I will go for Masters after my degree completion
Remarks:
The course of chemical engineering is provided by bit for that you should get a JEE mains rank of around 60k the application for applying is on the Portel of jossa or cisab counselling I am not having any reservation benefits there is nothing for the improvement in an admission it is all good
Placement Experience:
The placement scenario of BIT MESRA is really decent. Various companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, ONGC, Reliance, etc visit each year to recruit students. Circuital branches like CS ECE are offered with high packages. On average we can say 16 LPA. But lower branches are also offered with decent packages like avg 8-9 LPA. Overall 80%+ students get placed. It varies each year.
Remarks:
Each year BIT MESRA takes admission based on JOSSA Counseling. JEE MAINS Score is taken into consideration. I got admission through JOSSA Counseling. We get out a preferred branch based on JEE Score.
