- The library is quite impressive and contains lots of journals and books.

- BIT mesra support and funds startups which is a very good initiative.
- The placement of Computer Science here is 100% which is very good.
Dislike
- Its not perfect because there are fewer faculty members in our department. There is no separate food technology department on campus like others. This branch is still developing and does not receive much focus from everyone. It is not given much importance.
- I need to find an internship by myself. I have got a very low stipend, but its good for my future.
- If the student is poor and their annual family income is less than 3 lakhs, then only a scholarship is provided.
- You will be expelled from college if you are involved in bad activities. Politeness is of utmost importance; taking our vehicle onto college premises is not permitted.
- The facilities provided are not up to par according to the fees that are taken. The mess provides bad food, and the cleanliness in the hostels is very bad.
- They cause trouble only to the students, and when something goes wrong, they make excuses.

Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement because they all are knowledgeable and have great skills in their field. And I planned to complete my master's from this college after my B.Tech because it gives me more opportunities for the best placement.
Remarks:
It is given by the percentile of jee mains. Eligibility for the course is 85 percentile. All information was provided by the college website and all the information about the application form and when all things will be started are available on the college website.
Placement Experience:
Placements are very attractive here as all the major companies visit here to offer jobs. The average package of college is nearly 14-15 LPA, so for CS, and AIML branches it is nearly 18 LPA. 85% of students were placed here this year.
Remarks:
You have to pass JEE Mains for applying to college. You are allotted to this college by jossa counseling. You get top branches like computer science and artificial intelligence and machine learning at around the 98 percentile in JEE Mains.
Placement Experience:
The placements at BIT Mesra stand shoulder to shoulder with the top institutions of the country. The overall college average in 2021-22 was 13.01 LPA, and that of the CSE Department was 19.28 LPA with 84% and 97% placements respectively. Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester. The top companies visited include Amazon and Atlassian among various others. The highest package offered last year was 58.33 Lacs per Annum, which was offered by Atlassian After getting the degree BTech in Computer Science Engineering from BIT Mesra, I plan to get placed in one of the top companies which visit the campus and later go for a Master in Computer Science.
Remarks:
The admission process for Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Integrated Master of Science (IMSC) at BIT Mesra is solely based on the ranks received in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The cutoffs (OPEN Category) range widely from around 16000 for Computer Science and Engineering (4 Years, BTech) to around 62000 for Food Technology (5 Years, IMSC). The application form, application fees as well as application dates were handled through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), as BIT Mesra is one of the prestigious colleges in India. The admissions started from 4th November 2022 onwards, as instructed by JoSAA to all the colleges participating under it. The admission process was well and good.
Placement Experience:
The placements at BIT Mesra are at par with the top 7-8 NITs with a 90-95% placement rate in CSE/IT offering an average of 20.58LPA in IT and 19.27LPA in CSE. The overall average package is 13.01 LPA, and the placements in lower branches are pretty decent too. The overall placement % stands at 85%. The highest on-campus placement was offered by Atlassian @ 58LPA domestic package.
Remarks:
For taking admission at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra you need to appear in JEE Main Examinations. JoSAA counseling cutoff ranges between 15k-18k for CSE, General. After seat allotment in Josaa counseling, students proceed for Physical verification.
Placement Experience:
from the 4th sem students are ready for internships and after 6th sem students can participate in placements there are more companies but i remember just two names optum and godrej they selectd the students

student must pass 12 with a minimum of 50 % as the eligibility criteria The admission department is there for any help and query regarding admission nothing for reservation infrastructure can be improved for a better environment

Yes, I took JEE MAINS to get admission. Application for this comes every year and 12th or 12th pass students apply for it. The cutoff for CSE is 19k (CRL) this year and for my branch, it was around 65k (CRL).

Admission was based on jee percentile, rest all forms to be filled were on website itself, i want the registration part to be more online based rather than online. In the registration, most of the process was easy.

You can take admission through JEE mains, for computer science engineering you need an AIR of less than 20000. I myself scored 98.90 percentile in jee mains. I did not have any reservations. You can find the application form application fees and application dates through the josaa counselling.
