I have considered the faculty achievements, course popularity, university infrastructure and placement year oppurtunity.
Course Curriculum :
The structure of the course curriculum is perfect as is it designed in a way where core subjects provide us indepth knowledge about the course. There are also few optional modules of our choice. The assesment is also mixed i.e. few modules have written examination and others are assignment type. Both assesment method keeps us updated with the current knowledge of the module.
Exams :
I have submitted only my application with CV and LOR. for my university there is no need of any english proficiency certificate. Instead we need to attend academic training in the university after getting into the university along with your course.
Placement :
There are more job opportunities as you have 2 years of PSW to stay back in the country by which you can work anywhere inside the UK without sponsorship. Many people opt to do Phd because of wide scholarship and stipend opportunity. there is also world wide opening for Phd.
Events :
Our campus infrastructure is the best because it is ranked in the top 10 infrastructure around UK university. There are several unions for sports, social works, fund rising and emergency practise. The wifi can be used all across the university buildings and we also have access to all the facilities. The library also provide access to several journals for reading purpose and research purpose.
Scholarship :
No I have not received any scholarship as I have applied in the last moment. My advise to students is to keep an eye on scholarships you are eligible for because scholarship application gets closed before 6 months of your planned intake.
Faculty :
There is 1 staff for every 20 students, to whom we can contact for both our doubts and need. and also we commonly shuffle for every module as it differs with course and choices. Any professor in the particular course can be contacted freely for any issues and helps.
Hostel :
I have shared a private apartment with my friend. Here in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the city is also called student city and everything is very cheap including food and house. We also get discounts and offers when you hold a student card. New entries can go for both university accomodation and private accomodation as both are equally safe in UK.
