Remarks :

I got into iitg through jee advance exam, it's the toughest exam in India, you have to qualify in jee mains exam to give jee advance. The selection ratio is 1%, you will get the form on Google, this exam is conducted by IIT professors.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am studying in IIT Guwahati in computer science and engineering. I chose this just because of my passion for tech. Faculties are good but at the end of the day, your efforts matter. Exams are conducted twice per sem.

Class Size : 114Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees in iit Guwahati are a little bit high because it's one of the best engineering colleges in India. I didn't get any scholarships. but iit Guwahati provides you with loans. The cost of studying here is around 4 lakh per year.

Campus Life :

Campus life is too good in iit Guwahati. I didn't join any clubs yet. But I heard that they will make us socialist. They will enhance our passion. You will find every type of club here. We have a big library, we can every books there.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

Placement Experience:

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
