Remarks :
Eligibility: For B.tech you must have qualified jee main with good percentile and your percentage in class 12th should be greater than 75%. For M.tech or other courses, you have to qualify for other examinations like gate, etc. For jee main application date you have to visit the NTA website. You can fill out your application form online and pay the examination fees(1000 rupees) online. Same procedure for gate etc examination. If you qualify for the JEE mains exam with a good percentile then you have to do counseling for colleges through Josaa or csab or Dasa.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose B.tech cse at this college because placement is quite good and college life is also very good. Our seniors are very supportive. Here in B.tech cse the girls boys ratio are 40: 100 (approx). Send overall 100: 33 (approx). And there are many facilities and the total no of students is around 5000. The sports facilities are quite good and enough hostels for all the students. Here the professors are highly qualified. Sometimes we are not able to understand our professor's lectures but if we read the basics of the topic by ourselves then our professor's lectures are like a gem. The difficulty of our mid-semester exams are moderate but the end-semester exam are quite tough. If we attend all our classes then we can easily pass the examination without any external help. But for good marks, we have to put in a lot of effort.
Internships Opportunities :
I am a 1st year student here so I am not able to tell more things about the internship opportunities in our college. But I can surely say that it is far better than other some college. For more details on the internship opportunities in my college visit the official website of mnnit.
Placement Experience :
Our college is famous for its placement and packages. The placement rate of our college is approximately 90% and the average package is about 20 lpa. At the beginning of the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. There are many big companies like Google, Microsoft, Zomato, etc come to our college for placement. Our college has got 2nd ranked in placement in all nits. There are a large no. of students placed through campus placement. The highest package of our college is 135 lpa and the average package is approx 20 lpa in 2023.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college fees are quite similar like many nits and iits. It's around 8 lac for 4 years of B.tech including hostel and mess fees. There are many benefits for students having their income less than 1 lac, they only have to pay 2.5 lac in 4 years. There are also some Benefits for having an income less than 5 lac. Campus Life :
Our campus is very charming full of greenery and buildings. Our college life is also very good. We all 1st year students live friendly with each other. Our seniors are also very supportive. There are also some fest and tech fest celebrated by us. Our annual fest is CULRAV. Our annual tech fest is AVISHKAR which is celebrated in the months of January and February. For 1st year students there is an event named SWAGAT also very famous. We also enjoyed Garba's night in Navaratri. There is a very big library in our college named 'Central Library'. It contains enough books for our needs. Our classrooms are also very big and have enough space. And some classrooms have AC.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are also good except Internet. We live in svbh hostel in our 1st year. Every room has enough space and has three cupboards for three students. There is a study room in Every room also. I think the meals at our college are best. We eat a variety of food every day. And the food we ate was very delicious and healthy. Once you get admission to college just fill out the hostel forms and pay the mess fees of 25000rs/semester then, a room is allotted to you. And that's the process.
Interview Experience :
No there are no such tests for admission. You can take direct admission through josaa or csab based on your jeemain rank. So we don't have to prepare for it. We just have to focus on our entrance exam.
