Education Elevated: MY KCT adventure

Remarks :

I joined my college through Counselling. There is no entrance exam and my cutoff is 187 out of 200 which is sufficient to get into the ECE department at KCT. The application form can be filled out directly at the college or online. Since there was too much rush during the admission process. Any technique can be established to solve the same.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm very interested in electronics which made me choose the Electronics and Communication Engineering course. The faculties are very friendly and in the meantime, they helped me to shape my knowledge. My department consists of 192 students divided into three sections. Mostly professors and assistant professors teach us. Term exam comes once a month and if we are good at the subject, then it is easy to pass.

Placement Experience :

The college provides good placement facilities but mostly for IT and CSE students. Companies for circuit branches are lower. Students are eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. Start-up companies visit most often. The highest package is 8LPA and the lowest package is 2LPA. 85% of the students get placed per year. My plan is to be placed as an embedded system engineer in a good company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite higher for the students from middle-class families since it is around 2lakh per year including the hostel. There is no scholarship or financial assistance that I was offered. Our college provides placement facilities.

Campus Life :

We have a great annual fest at our college called "Yugam". It was conducted in May. The greatest thing to be noted in our college is the huge collection of books and journals in the library. The classroom is good and provides equal opportunities for co-curriculums and extra-curriculums. Our college has various clubs and forums like Re, Garage, and so on.

Hostel Facilities :

The ambiance in the hostel is very good. Meals are very high in taste and they provide the same menu once a week. Hostel will be provided to the students who are far away from the college. Students can register to the hostel once they enter as a new admission. I stay in a college hostel.

Placement Experience:

There are placements for the students passing out but the jobs usually don't pay more than 15000 per month on average. The placements are not always equal to all departments like food technology department gets the most placements and biotechnology and other departments almost get no placements. The new management is doing a lot to improve the placement program.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a very good and interesting one. The faculty-student ratio will be 1 faculty for every 20 students All faculties are doctorates. Terms are twice a year and are moderately difficult but their teaching is enough to clear the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
