Remarks :

The admission process was very easy and convenient for my university particularly. The admissions are based on the JEE score and a merit list is prepared of the applied students and they are allotted colleges based on students' preference order. There is separate counselling for IP colleges which has around 3 rounds and 2 spot rounds. 85% of reservation is provided to the Delhi students while 15% is for the outside delhi students. The application forms and brochures can be easily found on the IPU official website. The admission process is 90% online and you have to report only at the end of the counselling process after you have frozen your seat.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm doing my B.tech in information and technology from IP University. I chose this course as the IT sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world and since I also possess a high interest in this course. The faculty-student ratio in my college is good. You don't have too much of students on one faculty member so faculty members are easily available for your doubts and queries related to not only studies but other issues that you are facing as well. 99% of the faculties are Phd holders and are highly qualified and skilled. The exams here are not as difficult as they may say. If you study even 1 week before the exams cover 2-3 units and do PYQs, you can easily score an 8+ cgpa in IP university

Internships Opportunities :

Since I'm only in my second year I have not applied for internships yet but I do know that year students are getting internship opportunites from our college side. And mostly all internships are stipend-based only plus you get other perks as well like swags and all.

Placement Experience :

The placement opportunities are increasing every year. More and more companies are coming to the campus. You can see packages in Crs also. 3rd-year students are going for internship opportunites while in 4th year you become eligible for on-campus placement drives and interviews. the highest packages here are in crores while the average package is around 20 lakhs per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

According to me, the fees here are normal for a btech degree. My fee is 1,45,200 for 1 year. Here you also get financial assistance to the EWS students on a merit basis. There are n number of scholarships, whose forms are released every year, providing scholarships in various categories and on various terms. So if you are eligible and in need of a scholarship you can easily get one. On-campus placement records of IP University are increasing every year. More and more companies are coming to campus for placement opportunities. Now they have also started giving on-campus internship opportunities

Campus Life :

There is an annual fest named "Anugoonj" and every college under ip university conducts its separate fests. A lot of events happen every year in the colleges. sports fest is conducted by the university. every festival is celebrated in the respective colleges. You can also see active societies and clubs that are active throughout the year. Library and book bank facilities are there in the colleges. You can get a book bank card made and can get all semester books for free for that particular semester. AC classrooms are there but not all classrooms have ACs but all the labs do have ACs. overall the campus life here is great and matches your expectations for a delhi college

Placement Experience:

Placement is decent. Average package including all branches is about 12lpa and avg package of tech branches is between 16-18 lpa and talking about core placement which is not so much good but ya it can definitely provide you a employement with a decent package of around 8-9 lpa

The average life at IITD

Placement Experience:

Placements here are very great. The so-called 'Quant' companies also come here. Because of this, you hear news like "4 crore salary offered to IITian".Other than the average salary and placement percentage is also pretty good.
