Mangalam college review

Remarks :

Application forms can be found in the college office Or their website(I chose from the office so I don't really know about the website). Reservations benefits are there according to your caste and other things too. No, the admission process is pretty simple for anybody so it's good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I want to become an engineer that's why I chose this course. Only one teacher for one subject for all the students. All faculty has a master's degree and their teaching is kinda good. Every term exam was conducted at the end of every 6 months and difficult depends on how you study.

Placement Experience :

5th sem onwards the students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies are Vipro, Infosys, TCS, etc lots of companies visit for placements they make one offer. The highest average package is 8 lakhs and the package is 2 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is kinda low approximately 25%. I will go for a job after getting the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee hike depends on the marks scored by the students in the 12th and the team exam is also a key element for fee structure. There was no scholarship provided by the college or management and so there were no job opportunities on campus.

Campus Life :

Annual fest and tech fest names are always changed every year and mostly there are mostly conducted in the month of January. There is a basic availability of books in the library, not everything we need but there are books we can use. Not many facilities are provided there is a board, light, and fan that's it and there is always a pigeon in the class. Yes, there is a sports day for sports activities.

Hostel Facilities :

In the room, there is a fan, bed, and bathroom and it's shared by 4 people. Meal quality is bad or maybe average it depends but it's most probably bad only. Registration is pretty easy we can do it in college. No great view in the locality just a normal place.

I chose this course because, at present days computer science is easy and CSE branch is in huge demand in present days and the faculty is not up to mark as expected from the college, the qualification for faculty is already phd.

Seniors said that they are sitting for placements in the final year and preparations are made from 3rd year. The on-campus placement happens very often. TCS, Infosys, etc. International companies like NVidia also came for placement. 92% of students got placed in 2023. I plan to sit for placement after Btech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fine. It's good and can manage both academics and sports. Faculty members are so kind and good. As I said in my preference order I gave CSE as my choice but I got only ECE anyway I like electronics. Faculties here have doctorate degree along with some specialization. Exams. There are 2 mid-semester exams each for 50 marks and 1 End semester exam for 100 marks along with some courses have lab.
