Remarks :
The eligibility criteria for BA CEP were passed in the +2 level in any stream. For students whose boards were remaining, they can apply with 10th and 11th marks. The application form was available on the official website. The application fee was Rs 1500.
Course Curriculum Overview :
BA CEP provided a holostic understanding to anyone looking to into the media sector. It gives a wide field to get into, all the courses enhancing the understanding of each other. Every faculty would have to handle 60 to 70 students in each class. However, research scholars would sometimes take over some of the classes. The faculty members were highly qualified with sufficient experience in their field and did continuous research work. Every semester had two exams - mid sems (2 months into the semester) and end sem (at the end of the semester). Passing would not be an issue, but scoring higher marks was difficult.
Placement Experience :
For BA CEP, placements are available for third-year, i.e. fifth semester students. The companies that came for this course offered roles as TA, content writing, business development, and so on. The average package provided is around 2.5 to 3.5 lacs annually.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure depended on whether the student was from the state, or from somewhere in India or abroad. Apart from the academic fees, students need to consider accommodation, travel, or the general market price as well. The institution provided scholarship opportunities to students who wanted to avail of them.
Campus Life :
Christ University has events and fests happening throughout the year. There are stalls put up, promotional events, flash mobs, open mics and much more in the campus. There are multiple clubs and groups to be part of randing from debate, literature, environment, music, theatre production, etc. The libraries are well stocked with a huge of books, journals, magazines, papers, etc for students and faculty. Their classrooms have projectors, speakers, and other amenities to support smart classes. The campus also has fields, basketball and tennis courts, gym and other spaces for sports and extracurricular activities.
