Christ - An Experience for the Self-motivated

DP

Remarks :

The eligibility criteria for BA CEP were passed in the +2 level in any stream. For students whose boards were remaining, they can apply with 10th and 11th marks. The application form was available on the official website. The application fee was Rs 1500.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BA CEP provided a holostic understanding to anyone looking to into the media sector. It gives a wide field to get into, all the courses enhancing the understanding of each other. Every faculty would have to handle 60 to 70 students in each class. However, research scholars would sometimes take over some of the classes. The faculty members were highly qualified with sufficient experience in their field and did continuous research work. Every semester had two exams - mid sems (2 months into the semester) and end sem (at the end of the semester). Passing would not be an issue, but scoring higher marks was difficult.

Placement Experience :

For BA CEP, placements are available for third-year, i.e. fifth semester students. The companies that came for this course offered roles as TA, content writing, business development, and so on. The average package provided is around 2.5 to 3.5 lacs annually.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure depended on whether the student was from the state, or from somewhere in India or abroad. Apart from the academic fees, students need to consider accommodation, travel, or the general market price as well. The institution provided scholarship opportunities to students who wanted to avail of them.

Campus Life :

Christ University has events and fests happening throughout the year. There are stalls put up, promotional events, flash mobs, open mics and much more in the campus. There are multiple clubs and groups to be part of randing from debate, literature, environment, music, theatre production, etc. The libraries are well stocked with a huge of books, journals, magazines, papers, etc for students and faculty. Their classrooms have projectors, speakers, and other amenities to support smart classes. The campus also has fields, basketball and tennis courts, gym and other spaces for sports and extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen BA because it's interesting and it's the best course to study. There are a total of 38 college faculty in our college and a total of around 550 students in our college. The qualification of our college faculty is very high like B.ed and M.ed, They also have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. The teaching methods of our faculty are quite good and understanding. Monthly once we have mock tests and 6 months once we'll have term exams. They are conducted in a strict manner. The exams will be very tough to score.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college and it is headed by an associate professor. The students from the 1st to 6th semester are getting placed. Recently we had companies like Wipley, Optum, Toyota, Wipro, etc. The highest package is 7 lakh and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year. I have planned to go for government jobs after my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen BA(Economics) as I thought it was my interest. When it comes to teaching, there is an efficient allocation of faculty. Every faculty had PhD in economics and UGC NET holder and some are even cleared JRF scholarship. The way they teach is so interactive and understandable. Exams were conducted once in 6 months and 2 internal tests every 6 months and the level of exams is medium enough to clear.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good, better than most universities. Exposure to field words started in the first semester itself. The professors are highly educated individuals with an average experience of 7-8 years of teaching. They are usually specialists and have a unique and easy way of teaching. The term exams are conducted on time and are easy to pass if one attends and pays attention to classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course which is economics (BA) at the central university of Karnataka because firstly I am interested and also my parents were satisfied with the course I have chosen and as per the suggestions of my previous teachers and my wishers they suggested me to stand on by my decision as it has a good demand in the society. The teaching faculty here were good. They were informative, they had a good teaching background and so much experience. They are so friendly to clarify our doubts too. The exams are conducted strictly and the pattern was better. The questions are answerable and related to our syllabus.

Placement Experience:

Well, the placements are only for the Bcom students but they do send n number of companies where one can enroll based on their own capabilities. So if one is looking to get admission to the college to have placements then trust me this is not the college for you. They do not have that many placements for arts or science students. They too have job fairs in college but one has to be active in the placement cell then he or she can have a job.

Placement Experience:

Usually the highest package received was for students from BBA/bcom but others don't really have many options for placements. For placements, students become eligible from 3rd or 4th year depending on your course. The percentage doesn't really matter, all they require are proper etiquette skills as said by the BBA teachers.
