Remarks :

Lady Doak College is the first women's college in Madurai in the southern Indian state of Tamilnadu. Today there are 3200 students studying. They have both aided and self-financed courses. The college conducts an offline application process for all its courses. Candidates obtain application forms from the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose zoology because I am a bio-math student. I am more interested in biology. Faculties are well knowledgeable. Their motive is to become a transformative leader in higher education. They conduct both formative and summative exams. it will be easy to pass.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 22000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They offer approximately 25000 for aided and 40000 for self-financed courses. Nearly 80%of students are placed in higher companies of HCL, TATA, and Infosys. Many students got the opportunity to study for their PG and diploma in higher institutions.

Campus Life :

It contains complete modern infrastructure and facilities. including a modern laboratory, library, auditorium, girls' hostel, and guest room/waiting room for parents. They have well-furnished classrooms. They conduct various club activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I got good marks and I'm interested too. There is a batch method in our college like morning batch and afternoon batch. The morning batch time is 8.30 AM to 1.30 PM. The afternoon batch time is 2 PM to 5.15 PM .35 students studied in the morning batch and 37 people studied in the Afternoon batch. 30 faculty members worked in our department. Our faculties are well educated and graduates, and they hold PhD in their respective fields. Six months once one semester conducted, annually two Semesters conducted. There are Six semesters in Three years .it's slightly hard to clear the exams.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester of a course, students are eligible for a campus interview. There are more companies visiting our students. The packages of the companies differ from one to another on average the package is 10 thousand. You have a good number of students placed on the campus. Other than that you can prepare for competitive exams.

WORTH IS BEING IN DG

Placement Experience:

We have to complete 6 semesters without any backlogs then we can be able to attend the campus placement. Here the top companies like TCS, Infosys, Accrucentre, E and Y, Cognizant, Scope International and more companies are here for placement. The companies with the highest package of 5.0 LPA were available and more students were placed in those companies every year. These companies provide us to continue with our Higher education after getting placed. About 50% to 60% of students were get placed every year in our college with a nice salary package. My plan after completing the degree is to go with a PG in abroad or in IIT. So I'm preparing for it. I'm also interested in going with group exams and I'm also preparing for it.

A ratio between faculty and students of 1:20 it is a normal ratio, It is very useful for learning. All faculty minimum qualification is M.sc, B.ed, Ph.D. All professors with this educational qualification. The teaching method is very Advanced and the library is also available for students.
