Remarks :
Here the admission process was based on merit marks we scored in our 12th grade. The eligibility of the course - we have to pass out SSLC and HSLC with good grades. We can find the application on our college website dgvaishnavcollege.com and dates and fee details were found on the same website. After the completion of the application form you will get an SMS to the registered number in the applicant form and we have to attend the counselling to get the seat here. Here the reservation of seats was based on the caste reservation quota and a part of the reservation was made by the merit without the caste reservation quota. I feel this reservation based on merit marks without any caste was good and it makes the students get high scores and to get a seat here without any caste criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The code and curriculum were good enough to study and it was moderately easy and hard to grasp. The subject will be a little easy and a little hard with good concepts, which will be useful for us. I chose mathematics because I love to deal with problem-solving and my interest in solving questions will be more curious and it will be more satisfying. Here the faculties are good and everyone is more friendly and supportive. The way of teaching was really good and the study ratio was good about 80% of the class is being filled. Here the way of teaching was really nice and some miss to fulfil but most of the staff were good at teaching and will clear all our doubts as you request them. The staff's way of teaching is better on the board when compared to projector classes. Here the term exams were conducted twice in a year with a gap duration of 5 to 6 months. It's easy to pass in the starting years but in the final year, regular practice is necessary to get passed out with good scores.
Placement Experience :
We have to complete 6 semesters without any backlogs then we can be able to attend the campus placement. Here the top companies like TCS, Infosys, Accrucentre, E and Y, Cognizant, Scope International and more companies are here for placement. The companies with the highest package of 5.0 LPA were available and more students were placed in those companies every year. These companies provide us to continue with our Higher education after getting placed. About 50% to 60% of students were get placed every year in our college with a nice salary package. My plan after completing the degree is to go with a PG in abroad or in IIT. So I'm preparing for it. I'm also interested in going with group exams and I'm also preparing for it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure here for the aided shift was very low while compared to the management shift. The fee structure was around 9 thousand to 10 thousand. This fee was paid once a year and totally it would sum up to 25 thousand. The name of the scholarship was "TAMILNADU GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME" You have to provide the details required about 3 to 4 thousand every year. The main thing we have to update it with the details required. Here the were good with about more than 150 companies with good salary packages of about 5 to 6 LPA and companies like TCS, Infosys, Accrucentre, etc. are hiring students from here with good salary packages. Many students were hired to study abroad for higher studies and also for jobs with good salary packages. Companies hire students with good skills and also with good company knowledge and also with the programming language.
Campus Life :
Life on campus is more beautiful since the atmosphere is more silent with a pond in our college. The presence of more trees and a cool climate will make you feel more relaxed and pleasure. The fest called vest is most popular here and it's mainly for freshers and it is celebrated every year and another famous fest is Vbazzar which is the most remarkable one in our college. This fest was celebrated for 2 days with more fun and lots of celebrities were being invited. Here the library provides us with lots of good books and journals and we have to return them within the time they provided. Classrooms are good with neat and clean benches and also with a virtual class and also with a blackboard. It's good enough with a spacious room and also with a number of fans and lights. Sports and extracurricular activities are available in our college. Our own interests should be needed to show our talents. Sports blocks are available here with courts and enough sports items.
