Sarthak Rajput's Review On Fairfield Institute Of Management And Technology - [FIMT], New Delhi | collegedunia.com

Infrastructure is good, faculty members are helpful and placement are average.

Remarks :

The minimum eligibility for this course is that students should have passed 12th from any recognised board with a minimum of 50% of marks. I find the application form on the college website. The application fee was around 1000 rupees. I have not availed of any reservation. The admission process was good, there is not any changes required.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose to study B.Com because I was looking job oriented courses with low fees. Faculty members are highly qualified and they are friendly also. Most faculty members here are having PhD degrees. Their teaching method includes practicals and theory. They provide us with PDF and handwritten notes. The term exam is conducted every 6 months and it's not difficult to get passing marks.

Placement Experience :

From the 5th semester of the course, students get eligible for campus placement. Yes if any student has not any internship experience then it's hard for them to get placement. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 lac per annum, the lowest salary package offered was 2 lac per annum and the average salary package offered was 2.4 lac per annum. Most student from our course has not appeared for placement because they want to do higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure included college fees and university fees. In college fees there are some other charges like transportion fees if any one taking transportation service. Yes there are opportunities for scholarship for brilliant student. Financial assistance are not provided by the college but you can apply for laon from bank.

Campus Life :

There is no fixed name for annual fest and its conducted every year in any month of the year. Library is big and there are huge collection of books related to our course and current affairs. There is computer also in library for digital learning. Classroom has all basic amanities like air condition, fan, whiteboard, a projector, a table and chair etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are available on a double and triple-sharing basis. If you want to take a hostel room alone then there is no availability. Rooms are fully furnished with all the basis amenities like a study table, almirah, fan, light, security camera etc. The variety of meals is good. The food served is hygienic and good in taste. The hostel fees and PG available nearby college cost almost equally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bcom Honours, it's quite an interesting course where you focus on different areas but in most semesters you have accounts as a core subject. Faculty is kinda nice and good where you can talk with lectures about problems and inquiry Lecturers helps with problem if you face in college, though the admin office works very slowly and you often see students in the window of the admin office because there was a mistake

Placement cell works very hard in our college to get placement for students with good internships and placement packages. there are so many companies visiting, the average package would be more than 4 lakhs rupees.

I chose this course because I was pursuing a professional course, so I can manage my studies easily. My college has an average faculty-student ratio. Teaching methods are also good in the college. Term exams were every six months and they were not that difficult to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in it. The faculty is very good and gives their best time to time and they not only cover course but help in life advises also. The faculty is supportive. There is only one exam semester exam which is easy to pass and there is some internals that is of 25 marks and the exam is of 75 marks. Internal includes assignments, tests, and 5 marks are of attendance. The faculty is well educated and the teachers too good. If you are regular in your classes then you will score well as you can ride with the flow of the teacher. The faculty knows how to complete the syllabus within time with all the concepts cleared .some teachers are average but the majority of the faculty is supportive. They advise you in every manner they can. Doubts are also resolved via WhatsApp or call as teachers are always available for doubt sessions. we have some smart classes or labs where teachers teach on whiteboards making the concept easier to understand and retain.

Placement Experience:

The placements are not the best but not the worst either. I got placed in EY which gives me the chance to be a part of the Big 4. The placements are more dependent on individual capabilities rather than the college itself.
