Remarks :

IITs are available to all the candidates who have cleared JEE advanced exam and the college and branches are given according to their rank. You can find the application for the exam on the website of NTA for JEE main and for JEE advance on jeeadv.ac.in Yes, there is a 20% reservation for females and a 33% reservation for ST, SC, and OBC. Yes, they should elaborate on the admission process after the JEE exam more clearly and should announce & release all the formats of certificates required for admission at least 15 days before the reporting date to the institution.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I have a deep interest in physics and want to pursue it further here is 1 professor for every 40 students if we calculate the ratio. The faculty are highly qualified, some have already taught at international Institutes like Havard and Kingston, all of them are researchers and scholars and teach really well Term exams are every 6 months and between those 6 months we have mid semester exam too and it's pretty tough to pass this exam, you have to study here too, as you compete with the best

Internships Opportunities :

Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Microsoft have offered internships as the post of various executives and heads of teams like finance, tech, or marketing The projects were mostly to increase the reach of the PR and branding team and to give them a backbone in the tech sector

Placement Experience :

7th and 8th-semester students can sit for campus placements. JP Morgan, Apple, Google, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and others visited campus recently and the highest domestic package was 1.1 Cr. And the international package was 2.4 Cr 90% of students got placed I would go for higher studies after my degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fee is a little bit higher but as the faculty are so highly experienced and qualified so I think it is worth it and also the placements are good in IITs so we cover the cost of education within some years of job

Campus Life :

Alcheringa is our annual fest, which is the biggest cultural fest in northeast India, and its held in month February Techniche is our tech fest which held at a very big level in may We have the biggest library in the northeast on our campus and more than 1 crore the book is there. Classrooms are well equipped and air-conditioned with proper seating and chairs. There are all sorts of on the ground and a swimming pool and indoor courts for badminton and tennis on campus. We have alcher.iitg.in which is our culture fest website

Hostel Facilities :

We are provided large size rooms with beds, study tables, study lamps, chairs, and an almirah already equipped. A fan and tube light is there and every room has a window. The mess has a large variety of food and the food is tasty, they follow a properly balanced diet and provide us best meals. The hostel registration process was simple and assigned online

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to be placed after the 6th semester. Most of the major companies visit the college and make a good number of offers. Foreign offers are usually above 1cr and domestic packages are a bit less compared to them. IT companies are first to make offers followed by Automobile and Electronics. The highest Package is about 2.2 Cr offered in the role of Quant Analyst. The majority of high packages are provided for Software Engineer Roles by IT companies like FAANGM in India. The percent of students placed is nearly 96 to 98% of the students that register for the placement process. I will try to get placed as a software engineer in the placement.

Placement Experience:

Don't worry about placements, they are quite good. Our campus highest package this year is 2.5 cr/annum There are many other stats on our official website, you can refer to that. Mostly many people get interns in their 5th or 6th sem and get placed at the end of the 7th sem. I will talk more about this after going the second year atleast
