Remarks :

I cleared jee main with 6000 ranks and jee advanced with 9000 ranks. Then join IIT Guwahati and the beauty of college was a big shock for me. Here are many opportunities available for students from sports, singing, drama, and robots to many more activities. Every day you will find something to do

Course Curriculum Overview :

Some professors are good at teaching but others are not so good you have the library and ccc to compensate for that I chose this course only iit tag. I just did my mid-term exams and it was so hard because I did not do regular study

Class Size : 93Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are internship opportunities available, you just have to check your mail regularly and you will find all details regarding that. I'm BTech 1st year so I don't have any experience in this field.

Placement Experience :

The highest placement this year is around 2.8 crore per annum and from my branch, it is 1.8 crore per annum. The branch does not matter in placement, you just have to work hard towards your goals, then you can get any amount.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For sc and st fees are 40000 per semester and for most economically weaker students 20000 per semester. If you fill out Scholarships from time to time you receive more than the amount you paying for college. But for students family income greater than 5 lacs the fee is 1 lac per semester.

Campus Life :

You will never find yourself left alone there will be friends wherever you go around the campus. There are Spardha sports events and Alcheringa annual fest. You will find ground for most of the famous sports played around the world.

I like technological courses, especially civil engg. course because it is very much interesting for me. The faculties here are very good and experienced with a faculty-student ratio of 1:8. Quality of the faculties is excellent, Method of teaching is very student-centric, so understanding any subject matter is not at all a problem. Most of the faculties are doctorates as well as they have experience in research papers, publication etc

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good. Eminent companies like NRL, Oil India, and Vedanta visit each year providing an annual package of about 12-16 lakhs. About 60-70 percent of students are placed each year. A student is eligible to sit in placement from the third year.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to be placed after the 6th semester. Most of the major companies visit the college and make a good number of offers. Foreign offers are usually above 1cr and domestic packages are a bit less compared to them. IT companies are first to make offers followed by Automobile and Electronics. The highest Package is about 2.2 Cr offered in the role of Quant Analyst. The majority of high packages are provided for Software Engineer Roles by IT companies like FAANGM in India. The percent of students placed is nearly 96 to 98% of the students that register for the placement process. I will try to get placed as a software engineer in the placement.

Don't worry about placements, they are quite good. Our campus highest package this year is 2.5 cr/annum There are many other stats on our official website, you can refer to that. Mostly many people get interns in their 5th or 6th sem and get placed at the end of the 7th sem. I will talk more about this after going the second year atleast
