Remarks :

I joined IIT Kanpur by clearing JEE(Advanced) 2022 and secured an AIR of 1224. Before appearing for JEE(Advanced) a person needs to clear the cutoff by giving JEE Mains exam which usually happens twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was getting B.Tech Electrical Engineering in at IIT Kanpur according to my JEE(Advanced) rank. I chose this course because it's a circuital branch and I was getting admission in the top 4 core IITs. The professors are very good here and they are very learned. Also, the placements for Electrical Students are great here.

Class Size : 1200Course Fees : INR 232870 per year

Internships Opportunities :

IIT Kanpur students get excellent internship opportunities. Various kinds of roles are offered here. For example, students get offers from IT companies, Quant companies, Investment Banking Companies, etc.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placements in their 7th semester. In Electrical Department almost 90 percent of students get placed as many people go abroad for pursuing a master's. The highest package offered this year was 4cr by Jane Street Capital.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are very nominal. Government colleges take care of everyone in terms of money matters. Significant fee relaxation criteria have been placed to ensure that no student gets left out just because of family income,

Campus Life :

The campus life is great here. Every sports amenities are present here. We also have rock climbing and squash courts here. We have a very large Open Air Theatre. We have excellent classrooms with all the modern technologies. You can find any club you like here. You just name it and there is a 90 percent chance that it already exits here, otherwise you can simply start a club of your own.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel Facility is very good here. We get very nutritious food here which is surprisingly cheap. We have a basketball court and TT rooms in our hostels. We also get 24/7 hot running water. For drinking purposes, we have a water cooler that is fitted with a RO.

Life at NIET

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the sixth semester itself. Companies start visiting the college in the mid of the sixth semester. If you are from a computer background then be assured of 100% placement. Other courses available are MBA, BCA MTECH integrated etc. Mostly every student gets placed to maintain the reputation of the college. It has an average package of 500000 per year. After getting the degree I'll be working in the software field

A affordable and good college

Placement Experience:

The placement at my colleagues is good. We are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The companies that visited my college are Infosys, HCL, Dot square and many more. I don't have any information about that offers. The highest package of my college is 25 lpa and the average package of my college is 3 lpa. 70-80% of students get the placements. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own startup.

Placement Experience:

Placement of college is good in upper branches like cs, it et. but bad in lower branches. Paytm, Microsoft, jio5g, vincee int. etc are visited in college. And placement is started from sem 7 till the end of sem 8. 80 % of the student is placed in companies.

Students in the final year are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Samsung, Adobe, Asian Paints, people strong, optum, paytm ,byujus, and many more. The previous year the highest package was 45 lpa provided by Amazon off campus and the average package was about 12 LPA. The percentage of the placement was 82% approximately and for the computer science branch, it was about 98%. In my plan was to get placed in the college.
