Remarks :
The FMS form was rolled out before CAT and we had a sufficient deadline to fill the form. On the basis of CAT scores, the composite score is evaluated with 40%, 30%, and 30% weightage to VARC, DILR, and QA sections respectively. The college shortlisted a certain number of students based on the composite scores and then an interview was conducted with each of the candidates. Eligibility of course: Any student with a graduation degree or in the final year of graduation is eligible for the course along with a minimum of 50% score in graduation. All details regarding the application form, fees, and dates are available on the FMS website. The interview process was extremely smooth and even the results were declared within a short span of time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course to get a better business understanding of various industries. Also, it helps me leverage peer and alumni networks and learns under the experience of eminent faculty members. Faculty: The student ratio is around 1:3. Every permanent faculty member is a Ph.D. The teaching methodology at FMS consists of case studies, lectures and even role plays to enable interactive discussion among the students and teachers. There are 4 term exams for a duration of 2 years. With a consistent focus on learning and active class participation, one can score well in exams.

The classrooms are fully equipped with comfortable chairs (for both left as well as right-handed people), and AC and AV facilities. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted by the Sports Society and also the Cultural Society throughout the duration of the course. The MSA is the most important student-run body and manages various activities related to infrastructure and organizing events.
Interview Experience :
My Personal Interview was based on my application form and SOP. We also had an extempore round as a part of the process. My extempore topic was "Is OTT a boon or a bane?". The selection component consisted of CAT Score (50%), Class 10th Score (10%), Class 12th Score (10%), Discussion on Statement of Purpose (10%), Extempore (5%), and PI (15%). I enrolled myself in a Telegram group for GD-PI preparation and read news articles, practiced extempore topics, and gave mock PI as a part of my preparation strategy.
