How was your JEE Main 2022?

One of my friends recently took the JEE Main entrance exam. As I am familiar with his experience, let me share it with you.

He was preparing for the exam for the last 2 years, and was very confident about it. His exam was on 26th February in the 2nd shift, and claimed that it was the most difficult shift. 

He reached the centre an hour before the exam and finished with all the documents. Reaching the center early made him more relaxed and calm.

He started the exam with Maths, as he believed it to be his strongest suit. But he later realized it was the most difficult. He managed to complete 17 questions in the first hour. But he managed it well without panicking in the end.

During attempting the Physics section, he felt it was the easiest. Most of the questions were direct and formula based. He completed it in about 45 minutes.

He always felt chemistry was one of his weakest areas. He was not very confident about the inorganic part, and planned to score a 60+ overall. He completed it in 30 minutes, attempting 21 questions.

He was then left with 45 minutes, with 8 unsolved questions in Maths, 1 in Physics and 4 in chemistry. He then solved the 7 out of 8 questions in Maths in 20 minutes and rushed to the chemistry part attempting 1 question as well. 

In the last 5-10 minutes, he moved around the remaining questions but was unable to solve any. He attempted 69 questions and was confident about his performance.

He checked the marks from the official answer key and got 238 out of 300, which he was very satisfied with, as he did not break under pressure.
